Positives: The view of the ocean and hills were stunning! The hot tube was nice too. On the afternoon that we arrived, we found spiders and roly-polies (pill bugs) in the lower level and on the stairs leading down there. We killed what we saw. The next morning, after a slight overnight rain, we found more roly-polies, spiders, AND a Jerusalem Cricket (which is about two inches long and has a wide body). The cricket ended up in my sons shoe which, once my husband carried the shoe outside, he had to thwack it three times before it came out. I immediately contacted the host. She responded quickly and offered to have a cleaning company come out; they were there by late afternoon. No one in my five person family slept in that part of the house after that. As the days went on, we continued to see more pill bugs and spiders downstairs. It wasn't until our second to last night, after my husband found a different type of bug crawling on him while he was reading in the bed of the primary suite, that we decided to get a hotel for our final night. I was denied a refund for that final night. I felt the house was slightly dirty. The baseboards had visible dirt/dust, the carpets leading to the downstairs bedrooms, hallway, and bedrooms had stains on them. Also, the counters in the kitchen and primary bathroom were square tiles; the grout in between was stained (maybe moldy) in some areas giving it a dirty feel. I felt like we were staying in someone's home and not a vacation rental.

Great location and view. The floors were grungy. The kitchen was crammed with disorganized junk but not some basics we expect. Glassware was a hodgepodge.dryer screeched loudly. The shower faucet in the lower floor ensuite bath was stripped so unusable. Could be so much better with simple attention to detail

The house is very cool! Great view of the ocean and excellent outdoor space. Beds are really comfortable! Has a great kitchen, Uber eats delivers to the house, kitchen is stocked with all kinds of cookware. Highly recommend staying at the house. Our host was so nice!

A beautiful, clean, bright home with all the necessities, a few lovely extras, and an incredible view - thank you for a wonderful escape!
