Property was nice. Plenty of room for 8 of us. Needed sone window civerings in a room. Elevator was not working so carrying heavy bags up 2 fkights of stairs may be an issue for some. Pool was a bit cold. Asked to have it turned up a bit but never recieved. All in all we would stay here again. Centrally located, a block from the beach and a 2 from the bay for your sunrise and sunset. A nice walk to Bridge street. They had plenty of extras for the stay as well! The rec room could use and update, pool is small but perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room for our family of 7. The house was very close to the beach. There were enough beach chairs for all of us.
A few suggestions: it would have been nice to have a couple beach umbrellas, as there were none to rent nearby. Also could have used some pot holders in the kitchen. These are minor things, but just suggestions. Also, 2 balls missing from the pool table.

The location couldn't be better with this home! The pool was awesome and in working order, as was the AC (thank goodness!). However, we arrived around 9:00pm and despite receiving 4 different emails with 4 different door codes as well as a text with yet another code, we couldn't get in. I finally got a hold of someone and we got inside. The main toilet upstairs was broken (and the water was turned off to it so obviously someone knew it wasn't working). I texted the number about that and trying to figure out the AC and the person was pretty rude. Just "I'll send someone out tomorrow." no help with getting the air to work and he/she ignored me after that. It was after 9:00 but we were just arriving from across the country! It's not too much to ask to help us not sleep in sweltering heat! They did get the toilet fixed the next day and the other people I spoke with were much more polite. But first impression wasn't great.
Several other things were broken in the home. The dishwasher. The garbage disposal. The lock on the door going out to the pool. (the house is for sure not little kid safe as the lock is broken and the alarm is completely dismantled.) The home is just really neglected. It seems like it's just a money machine for some corporate company and not a home.
BUT the location was AWESOME. The beach isn't real crowded and the sand is like sugar! The beach is nice and calm. If they could just fix all the things in the house, it would be the perfect home!

Upon check-in we noted several issues. A bedroom had no window coverings at all & was clearly visible from the next door neighbor's pool. There were 2 billiard balls missing rendering the pool table unusable by adults. The beach chairs promised for every guest were in terrible shape - rusted & broken - only 5 were usable at all. The fridge ice maker is completely broken. There are no functional umbrellas or shade at the pool.
So we immediately contacted Terry & requested just a few fixes. We asked for some type of window covering for the bedroom being used by a teenage girl. And for a complete set of billiard balls. First they tried to tell me that the listing doesn't promise window coverings! But the VRBO description clearly stated "room darkening shades'. After I pointed this out, I never heard from Terry again! No billiards balls not even a sheet to provide some privacy on the 14 year old's bedroom window! The location & size of this house were great but the massive state of disrepair & the unresponsive management were unacceptable. Keep looking & don't rent from Terry & Sandy at Anna Maria Island Rentals!!

Sums Up B was a great spot to relax and good proximity to the beach. It could use some updates and maybe a little bit of a tidy up but over all nice to be a street away from the ocean.
The game room / garage was definitely lacking and littered with broken chairs and left over trash and remnants of past guests. The pool deck could also be a little less cluttered with broken umbrellas. The house could also use a few more comforts to really make it stand out…perhaps a coffee table and a couple extra blankets would make the stay just a little sweeter.

We thought this house was in a really great location with just a short walk to the beach and trolley stop as well as many items for your time at the beach. The private pool was perfect and overall we had plenty of space for all of us and enjoyed the house and our stay.
There were a few maintenance needs like the dishwasher that isn’t screwed in so you have to hold it in place with your body while loading/unloading it and the main shower drain was clogged but overall the house was great for our group.

The location is great, walking distance to the beach! House is beautiful, however there are things that need some work/could make it better, the master bathroom toilet over flowed the first flush, the plunger mechanism is broke and just held together with a safety pin, all of the soap dispensers in all bathrooms were empty, someone’s underwear was found in the upstairs bedroom between the side table and the bed….gross! Dishwasher is a safety hazard! It’s not level, inside trays fall forward you can’t push them in until you shut the door, and shutting the door is a battle, backyard pool area needs a better set up, umbrellas didn’t function, no way to get shade, pool deck was HOT!! Yet neighbor property had lots of working umbrellas/shade, much nicer! Battery was low on the door key lock couldn’t get it to work the last night, had to go through pool gate and into the garage to open it, the deadbolt on the door from garage to pool area is broken there is no way to lock it, that’s a safety issue! A few little things that could be added to the kitchen would be a strainer, a pizza cutter, aluminum foil/ Saran Wrap…. Otherwise kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels, washer and dryer was wonderful, beds were comfortable, wagons and beach umbrellas/toys were great to have on hand, the beach chairs should be replaced, some were broken, several were very low to ground style, hard for older adults to get in and out of…. The decks off the living room and bedrooms were wonderful!

We liked the property, the location was great, and would stay there again if available. Concerns were mostly kitchen related. When they are fixed this property would get an excellent review.

Overall a good house. We did have quite of few issues. #1 the pad lock is on the side door not the front door as stated in the directions to enter the house. We had to call the manager for we couldn't get in. #2 the filter on the refrigerator needs to be replaced, we had to buy ice #3 the inside of the wash machine was all moldy (gross) and the house manager sent someone out to clean it. #4 It rained and there was water leaking from the ceiling in the garage. #5 The nights were cold and there are no blankets. The only thing on the bed was a sheet and a very thin bedspread NOT comforters as the manager stated to me. My 75 year old mother and I had to sleep with towels on us at night to stay warm. We turned up the thermostat to 75 just so we could sleep. #6 The pool sticks to the pool table need new tips, no chalk and the pool stick rack is broken. #7 Two sand chairs were all rusted through and broken.
