Our family of 4 (two boys ages 6 and 10) stayed here for 3 nights over winter break. The oceanfront condo and furnishings were the perfect spot us. The beds and mattresses were very comfortable, not squeaky and cheap. The bath towels were plush, not the thin/rough kind that you often get at beach rentals. And nothing beats enjoying the sunrise on quality adirondack chairs. This was our first time staying at Ocean Dunes, which is a decent sized condominium. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that this condo is directly across the street from the recreation center with a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness facility, and playground. The beach access was also right there. The hosts were extremely communicative leading up to our trip and throughout the entire stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Kure Beach.

Lovely property! You definitely cannot get any closer to the water. Laying in bed at night it looks like you are on a cruise ship, so relaxing! The hosts were great at communicating with me,espically when we were under a tropical storm warning and I was concerned about where to park vehicles and if we needed to leave or not. We loved this property and hopefully can return next year!

Great trip to Kure Beach! View from the balcony is amazing. Condo is as advertised in the photos and description. I’ve never had such a short walk to the beach. Having private, covered parking was a real added bonus. Only utilized two of the pools…the outdoor one by the rec center and the indoor pool in the rec center. Both were clean, have enough seating and were an easy walk from the condo. Communication with the owner was stellar. Not only quick to respond but very proactive as well. Great family trip!

The property was in a great location right on the beach with a short walk to get to the beach. The deck was fantastic to sit on to watch the sun rise over the ocean.

My sister and I wanted a get away after our mom passed away that she would love, and since she was a nature/beach lover, we wanted a place that was serene and quiet, not like the beaches we usually go to. This place was perfect. The condo was cute but the location was amazing. Kure Beach is beautiful and serene, sparsely populated during our trip and the beach was picture perfect. We got to see dolphins throughout our stay and enjoyed the balcony view more than anything. We will for sure be back.

The property was wonderfully located in a nice quiet neighborhood at the end of the island. Weather was beautiful so the all around a great little getaway! Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

We have stayed in several other oceans dunes properties. This one was great for us because it had the perfect amount of beds and plenty of seating. The owners were super responsive and very easy to work with!

Unit was clean and well stocked, everything was in good working condition and the home was very comfortable. Location was quiet and beach was not crowded, across the street is the indoor pool and hot tub. We had a fantastic time and loved everyday we spent here.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo celebrating our ten year wedding anniversary, with our three young children in tow. :) the location simply couldn’t be better - we could be on the beach in minutes, and even our two year old could carry her chair and toys for the distance. And the indoor pool across the street was also wonderful to have when our kids needed a respite from the sun. After they were in bed, my husband and I were able to enjoy drinks and dessert on the deck and still feel completely like we were on the beach! The view was incredible and we loved watching the sunrise over the ocean every day as well as the sunsets.
The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was not having a table inside - but I doubt this would be an issue with bigger kids or adults. Thankfully the weather was nice enough for us to enjoy most of our meals on the deck by the ocean.
All in all it was a dream and we definitely hope to return! Thank you so much!

Could the beach be any closer? It was our first time at Kure beach and we loved staying in this condo. Private, yet lots to so. Loved the pier and arcade. Thanks for a great trip!

This place was AMAZING!! The views were to die for. The pictures don't do it justice. Place was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better place. Evenings on the balcony were perfect. Best place we've ever stayed. It was so hard to leave.

Everything was "just as advertised " at Seaside Vista. Fantastic oceanfront view, wonderful location near Ocean Dunes Rec Center with indoor pool, close to Aquarium and Fort Fisher Ferry to South Port. Super comfortable beds, lots of extra touches like snacks, tissues and box fans in both bedrooms. Plenty of seating in living area. Great hosts!

We loved the property location and amenities . The condo is great (everything worked), nicely decorated, kitchen has everything we needed, same with bedding etc. Sand toys etc have been provided as well. Communication with manager and owners was excellent and prompt. Thank you.

To summarize our stay, I would say this little condo is a little piece of heaven! With all the day to day stresses we wanted our vacation to be at a place where we could completely relax. This condo was it! We had the choice of enjoying the beach from the back deck or taking a very short walk to the beach. Our 9 year-old loved the waves! While my husband and son boogie boarded, I sat on the deck watching with enjoyment. I could write so much more! To sum it up, the accommodations were wonderful. The owners have decorated the condo beautifully. We had everything we needed from bed linen to bath linen, even beach towels! This condo hit all the marks. I would highly recommend. Thank you!

We have been staying at Ocean Dunes 9+ years. This condo is one of our new favorites. We had an incident (had nothing to do with our condo) and the property manager was great at communicating and had the issue resolved in a very timely manner. We highly recommend and will stay here again!

This is a lovely, updated, well-appointed condo right on the beach with extraordinary ocean views. The community amenities (e.g. indoor pool, tennis courts, playground) are right across the street and super convenient to use. The owners are thoughtful and have taken great care to ensure guests have everything they could need or want - from beach towels to kitchen essentials to comfortable furniture and fresh bedding. We enjoyed our stay! A small note to others for awareness is that while the beach could literally not be closer (the waves reach nearly underneath the building itself at high tide!), the proximity to the water line means the actual beach area is quite small and not great for walks or letting little kids play safely back from the waves. Also, the condo does not have a dining table so the only sit-down eating option is for up to 4 people at the kitchen island. Not a problem if you're flexible but worth noting for those who would expect a family meal experience. Thanks again, we had a great visit!
