Upon our arrival Tuesday March 28, 2023 in the evening- there was NO hot water coming out of any faucets, the bathtub or shower. We tried to shower, take a bath and wash dishes- zero hot water coming out of any of the household faucets. I messaged the homeowners and they replied Wednesday between 11am-2pm they are sending their service repair men to come check out the hot water situation. I also FORGOT that I read in the guide book they have an unlocking code for a spare propane tank. I mentioned we couldn’t bbq because propane wasn’t working. My best friend had to take a freezing ice cold shower Tuesday night. I refused to take a freezing cold shower. So on Wednesday a service repairman came and went to find the water heater and came back upstairs and said well the hot water is now working and he left. Then the homeowners are trying to send me a bill for 1/2 the repair service charge of $135.00 saying I didn’t follow the home guide and I had to pay 1/2 the cost of the bill for damages-no hot water-which was $260.00. I was never provided proof of the bill and I paid over $1,100.00 for two nights vacation stay there. It’s not my fault the hot water wasn’t working as I am disputing paying this bill- that’s ridiculous!! Also Thursday early morning my best friend and I woke up- he asked if I had bites on my body. He had 4 BED BUG BITES on his left arm. We took off all comforters and sheets and found 3 bed bugs on the bed! Absolutely disgusting and made our vacation even more horrible. I suggest rethinking your stay at this house.

The house is awesome, and so is the host. The location is superb. There is everything one may think about, and the communication with the host was great. The welcome basket was a nice gesture. Highly recommended.
