Stayed up for one night for a wedding close by. The house and grounds are lovely and very suitable for families. Would have loved a second night to explore the area, but unfortunately not available. Will return again for a few more days next time.

Nothing it was perfect for our needs, but the road leading to the house is in a poor state so drive slowly.

The property has an issue with rising damp, so pretty much every interior wall is blown (Which is a potential health issue). in the evening it be.came very apparent that the property was infested with wood lice & slater bugs. These were found in every room in the house especially the the two bathrooms & dinning area - They were crawling out of the skirting boards. There are two bathrooms in the property, but the toilets failed to flush…. This was probably more stressful than the bug infestation! contacted host but not interested in addressing issues.

Stayed here over a long weekend with my family and couldn’t have asked for anything better. Excellent and fast communication from the hosts, who provided us with everything we required and more in the house! They were very friendly people! The heating was perfect, with an electronic fire if we wanted a boost, and towels and irons were provided. Everything was spotless and they even provided a spare key so some of the family could go out if the others didn’t want to and still get home safe. The beds were extremely comfy and the view is beautiful! We couldn’t have asked for anything better!
