The atmosphere outside the property is good!

It's a very old property with poor maintenance. There is even a water leakage on the floor. And there is not even a lock that is not proper to lock the door. Inside the room there is no proper maintenance. In the bathroom we need to wipe up the floor for the water to dry. There are no complimentary things from the property like a towel, toothbrush and paste and even a chair and Mirror. Importantly on my way to the property there is a bad odour coming up. It was my personal experience in August 2023.

The location of rooms

Its pretty far and is very difficult to find the place. Also its not value for money. Small room and not even water is available easily. There was a small and narrow way to beach as this place is like a hidden place which is neither close to roads nor beach.

The Temple Tree is a real piece of heaven. I felt in peace and harmony in the middle of this luxuriant nature, so close from the ocean that I could listen from my room along with the songs of the birds. This place is a hidden gem, away from the crowd of the cliff (but still very close from everything you need within a walking distance). Thank you to the staff who created such a beautiful atmosphere around them :) It's a place you could live forever.

The place itself is just beautiful, palm trees and the jungle are stunning, very close to the beach. Only 2 houses 2 rooms each which means not so many people around. Also, the guy who cleans the rooms is super nice and friendly

Well, I stayed more than 1 month and unfortunately could see much more =( Small things: the property owner left surfing at the known time of my arrival and wasn't available, so I had issues with location and bags; this isn't an apartment, it is just a very old room with cold water, the kitchen is shared with stuff, very dirty and smells like a fish always, so if you are veg it can be a challenge for you to use; not possible to order food. Big things: I had privacy issues with the owner\manager; And this Story:( Someone hit my motorcycle on the parking along with a wall, which belongs to another local owner, my bike was damaged and the wall as well, temple tree property owner\manager was acting inappropriately, sending me accusing messages and asking me to pay money for the damaged wall, just because that another owner is angry and "you have money anyway, just pay for it, doesn't matter if you didn't that", then the wall's owner attacked me when I was alone at the parking, was shouting in a different language and physically holding my bike not letting me go. My property manager wasn't helpful and obviously just wanted me to pay and even complained that he has to deal with it now. I had to go to the police to protect myself, police came and solved the case confirming that I am not guilty. I have never seen such unprofessional property owner behavior in India even though I come for 10 years. I had to move out urgently since it was just unsafe. After I moved out the temple tree owner kept contacting me and asking for my location, referring to the police, but the police of course already had my details and number, I felt so unsafe again. It was just a nightmare experience and please be careful, it can be ok for a few days, getting coconuts, drinking beers, and gossiping with the manager/owner, but in the case of any attack or problem with locals, you can't expect any protection from the place where are you staying, even opposite.

Good Place,Good Atmosphere

It is a beautiful little house in a green environment, between palmtrees, only like 1 minute of walk away from the beautiful beach and a great beach bar.

This place is absolutely beautiful, there is an abundance of wildlife including small snakes and terrapins in the waterways and so many beautiful birds including kingfishers, owls and eagles, we were quite mesmerised. The huts are behind a restaurant on the beach - Sandy Bay - it is a rugged walkway and wouldn't work with suitcases. The huts are basic, they're ok, cleaning was minimal but ok. Nice porch to sit out on. The tents are pretty small tents, just enough space for a bed. The manager and staff are very welcoming and helpful. They sell bottles of water, 1 litre for 20 inr. The Juicy cafe - a 15 min walk up the road has brilliant local cheap food (about 100 inr or less, per meal). The local beach is right next to here, at around 8 am the fishermen are all out with a big fishing net, hauling in their catch by hand - it's quite a sight.

The rooms could have been cleaner, our basin tap only worked by using a feeder tap under the basin. The walkway in could have been made nicer.

Very special place with lots of green and surrounded by wildlife. Very quiet and yet just a minute away from the beaches. Quick to walk to the more busy center and also to some more quiet beaches. Really nice and helpful staff. They even climbed a palmtree for us on the last day to get us a fresh coconut. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Definitely recommend!

Little house in the nature, really sweet.

First room we've got was dirty. Cleaning is ageneral issue. Means are missing. After changing the room we felt okay. The whole infrasteucture needs an uplift. But for the tariff they charge its ok

So close to beach. Calm and quiet property to sit back and relax.

quite, in nature, gt host, nr sea, space, actually i shouldnt be doing a a gt review as like to keep this place a secret but feel would be unfair to travellers who enjoy the peaceful side of life. not for party groups but for creative souls looking for time out away from the chaos. artists, poets, writers and more would take away a lovely experience.
