Nice spacious two bedroom apartment. Common area has a pool and deck overlooking an inlet waterfront. Very quiet area.
Nearest store was about 25 minute walk.

Insgesamt war es eine schöne Wohnung in einer Einheit mit 4 Wohnungen. Pool und Sitzplatz am Kanal war auch schön.
Leider war in der Beschreibung der Wohnung nicht vermerkt, dass man unbedingt ein Auto haben muss, um sich fort zu bewegen. Das hatten wir nicht. Die Gegend hatte nur Straßen, ohne Bäume, man konnte irgendwohin laufen. Unsere Wohneinheit war ( wie alle anderen Häuser auch) von hohen Maueren umgeben. Wir fühlten uns wie „lost somewhere in nowhere“. Mit über 70 Jahren wollten wir kein Auto und links fahren. Alle Wege mußten mit Taxi erledigt werden. Von den gebuchten 9 Nächten haben wir nur 7 aushalten können und sind dann früher abgereist.

Do NOT stay there without a car. It is in the middle of nowhere with no facilities.
There was no one else staying there. Never saw anyone. The accommodation is basic. It would have been nice if milk /coffee/ tea basics were left there. There was water but not on the fridge. Towels weren’t change. Bedclothes didn’t look that clean.
To be honest I left after 2 days. Too remote and isolated, albeit within a completed.
Probably good for a group with transport.

The area is remote. You need a car as at least 10 minutes drive from any shops/restaurants. Pool was green when we arrived, another apartment guest asked for it to be cleaned. Whole apartment needs maintenance, rain shower in main bathroom inoperative, toilet blocks easily, living room ceiling fan out of balance so can't use. Toaster, grill and oven not working. Kitchen worktop covered in sticky back plastic, which is all cut and peeling. Bed creaks on every turn but is comfortable! No written information in apartment relating to WIFI or appliances.

Spacious apartments with full kitchen, lounge/dining, and 2 bathrooms. Very clean room. Quality towels.

I asked for the process to get the key. Unfortunately, it was not provided. I then informed my flight arrival time, thinking that the owner may wait at the apartment. When i arrived, nobody at the property. Fortunately, my taxi driver was kind, and he used his phone to call the owner. At that time then at that time, the owner explained how to get the key.
I think as soon as the booking becomes non refundable, the owner should send the info on how to get the key. Otherwise, you have to use your international mobile phone to call to get the info on how to get the key.

Excellent apartment in a quiet residential area. Clean, spacious, comfortable apartment with a solid level of equipment. Good for an extended stay.
The apartment is a little out of the way from the main town, beaches and tourist areas which was good as it meant it was quiet in the evening, but with the distance I'd recommend having a rental car (which we did) rather than relying on getting taxis.

The pool and backyard, beds were comfortable, air conditioning was great!
A lot of little things , initial arrival was tainted by no address to give the taxi driver other than a suburb name, as no house number or street was given. Needed to get onto the owner, which took a lot of time get on to, as well as getting into the unit. The intermittent water, the washing machine, which did get fixed, lack of bedside lights, no tea towels or detergent ( I purchased these) unfortunately for an apartment the is supposed to be self contained it lacked a few essential items. The tv reception was not the best. Wifi didn’t work until owner was called to reset. The apartment was quite a long way from any shops, so I recommend a hire vehicle if staying there.
Local bus stop is about a 10 minute walk and costs about a $1 per person. Taxi costs range from $10-$15 for a one way trip.
