We stayed three places in cherai.But this property we do not feel good.Room tarif is high and do not have enough facilities

This is such a neat and clean property with a serene view of the lake.
U must start a in-house kitchen for lunch and dinner as well.

Got the best room with the best view. The property manager Girish is very friendly and helpful. The stay was very comfortable and warm. The rooms were neat and tidy.
The checkin and checkout time is odd. Check-in is 2pm and checkout at 11 am. Through flexible, three hour duration could be further shortened.

This is a gorgeous homestay by the back waters with the sea just across the road on the other side.
We stayed as a family for a night and absolutely loved the stay. we booked the main house with 3 rooms and one cottage for the 8 of us. the food is home made and done to order. falvourful and local. the manager also calls for any food from nearby restaurants. the staff was very nice and helpful. Kids loved the pool and we loved chatting all night at the porch and playing games. The boat ride arranged by the manager, was a lovely thing to do. we were in the waters and got to climb up the chinese fishing nets as well. Would love to go back here with a group of friends or family to relax and spend time together. it is only a taxi ride away from the city.
wifi doesn't work and during sunset time there are mosquitoes. the mosquitoes were handled with a coil though.

worst experience. It’s a scam to loot money. we have done the booking based on the pics and review of booking.com.
it was shocked when we checked in.
No Kitchen (We we have asked for food, irresponsibly told by the reception that if all 5 cottages are booked then they will get the cook for food preparation).
No pool - It was like a lotus pond.
No food was prepared / arranged
Breakfast - Appam and Kadala curry packed in plastic bag and provided in the room.
Actually booked for two days and paid full amount but checked out on next day morning itself because of the amenities and poor service.
Please never ever book this resort by looking at the name and reviews.

The tariff said breakfast included. But they buy from a restaurant near to the resort & the food was below average & no options. The egg curry was extremely spicy & the chana almost raw.
The food was set up outside in the verandah just outside the room. While the view was splendid extremely hot humid and uncomfortable to enjoy the food or view.
the staff set up everything and left. There was no service or asking if we want anything more of the food served on the table.
We were 3 adults n they gave us one plate of egg curry with 2 eggs. Few appams, 1 small piece of puttu, 1 small portion undercooked chana curry, 4 slices of bread & 1 omelette.
BOOK THIS PLACE ONLY FOR THE VIEW!!! EVERYTHING ELSE BELOW AVERAGE & coming from a person who’s travelled enough n more domestically & internationally.
There’s no proper food facility & while staff tried to be helpful but not trained properly.

After two weeks travelling around Kerala we had a wonderful relaxing week at Cherai Lake Resort which is on the lakeside with beautiful views across the lake and the sea 50 metres away. There’s a lovely sandy beach minutes from the resort. The staff were very attentive and always available. Lovely breakfast was served on the veranda outside our room each morning. We had the room with the extra big bed which was very spacious and the room and en-suite was spotless. The whole resort was beautiful and so well maintained. We could use the pool at the villa as it was vacant while we were there. There are lots of restaurants within a short walking distance. The staff can also provide meals if you want to eat on the veranda. The staff are so kind and helpful and will also organise taxis etc for you. The taxi took about 40 minutes at night from Cochin airport so was an ideal place to relax at the end of our holiday.
Nothing everything was amazing for a relaxing stay.

Beautifully presented property in a great location overlooking the lake.
Incredibly friendly staff who allowed us to use the Villa pool as it wasn’t booked. We also had free use of the bicycles.
Breakfast was delicious. All in all, a wonderful way to unwind at the end of two weeks travelling in Kerela.

Had an excellent stay. Well maintained. Very pleasant staff. Food was excellent. Quiet and peaceful. All in all a very good experience
The turn off from the road was a little difficult to spot.
Suite with private pool - the pool is private but not much privacy as it's open to the courtyard.
