Great location minutes from the international airport. (It can take hours in traffic to get to the international airport from other locations in San Jose.)

A bit noisy due to airport and traffic noise. No fault of the hotel.

The owner was so nice and helped us a lot with recommendations, taxiservice ect. The place was very clean, great wifi and nothing we asked was to much. We love it! We stayed there the first night and we later booked it for our last night before flying home.

Everything was perfect! We arrived at night so the taxi had trouble finding the right house, but when calling the owner he answered immediately and helped us guide the taxi in the right way.

Der Gastgeber war super nett und hilfsbereit. Er hat mir die Abholung von Flughafen organisiert und hat mir viele Tipps gegeben. Er war sehr bemüht dass ich einen guten Aufenthalt habe.

Die Unterkunft liegt nahe am Flughafen - das ist perfekt wenn man spät ankommt und früh weiter muss. Deshalb gibt es Flughafenlärm, aber der hält sich in Grenzen.

Schneller und freundlicher Check-In. Transfer per Uber wurde angeboten. Bloß kein Taxi nutzen. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen aber für eine Übernachtung nach einer späten Ankunft in San Jose völlig in Ordnung. Das Badezimmer war sauber.

Der Boden war etwas rutschig und die Küche sah eher weniger einladend aus. Lage etwas abgelegen aber wir mussten am nächsten Morgen gleich wieder am Flughafen sein, daher war die Lage für uns OK.

The "hotel" was very difficult to find. There is no name or sign outside. It's a privat house and they rent rooms. Even the taxidriver couldn't find it easily. The room itself is very simple and for 1 night acceptable. The smell of antimothdertergent in the room was awful. We were a bit shocked about the area and the "hotel" when we arrived but the hosts were so friendly and nice. If you prefer adorable and friendly hosts and you don't care about the room and location book there.

Manuel ist sehr nett, unser Flug hatte Verspätung, er hat uns mitten in der Nacht dann noch reingelassen. Für eine Nacht auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Es ist relativ laut, womit man bei der zentralen Lage rechnen muss. Ist keine Kritik, aber ein Hinweis an die Ruhe suchenden die ausschlafen möchten :)

I don't think you can get closer accommodation to the airport for the price. This was my first night in Costa rica and did not understand how they used the toilets but it's a norm so educate yourself. The shower was a first as the shower head doubles as a heater with live electricity in the shower, which too is a norm in Costa Rica. There is a local shop just beneath the stay that sold me the best chicken burger I've had. This place is for a convenience traveller that don't need the bells and whistles like a hotel.

Anchia is a great base for the airport and with a shop and cafe opposite makes for an easy stopover. Manuel was super helpful organising taxis and they provided a great breakfast.

Good for a stopover before your flight the next day. Value for money. The host picked me up from the airport at a small fee. Clean and neat.

Near to San Jose airport, friendly staff. Good breakfast (+5$). Small super market on the other side of the street. Value for money!

We loved the host! He was very friendly and helpful. The room is great. Exactly what we needed for our one night stay before our flight out. The bathroom has a nice renovation and is very spacious. The bedding is really nice and the pillows were great. The building is secure and the hosts' pups (Samantha 1 and Samantha 2) are friendly, well behaved and are contained on their balcony. It is walking distance to small markets and fast food. We got some fried chicken down the street that was good and plenty of food for us. We live in Costa Rica in a small beach town called Montezuma. It's normal activity for locals to congregate in street and drink beers so the little park gathering outside was no big deal for us. I can see how some guests might feel a little intimidated walking passed them but we did not have any problems and even shared some laughs with the guys sitting outside. Their voices do carry but we didn't mind one bit. It was quiet by the time I was going to sleep and my hubby can sleep through anything. The airport pick-up and drop-off was very convenient! Highly recommend this for travelers just needing a clean, nice place to land or depart from Costa Rica with a refrigerator and prefer to have a private space.

Honestly, nothing. It was perfect! There is a little noise but not enough to keep us from staying again. We stayed on a Wednesday night so it's possible that there is more noise on the weekends. If that's a problem for you maybe consider ear plugs or a different spot. I personally found it charming.

The host was extremely helpful and friendly. He is new to booking.com and it was obvious that he was doing his maximum to please the guests which I can only appreciate. His whole family lives next door and everyone was very nice. He also drove me to the airport early in the morning. The room is simple but everything was just as on the pictures. I was also offered a welcome drink, their local beer Imperial which was a great finish after a very warm day.

Don't expect 4* Mariot hotel but given the low price for the accommodation, I have no negative feedback really.

The owner is lovely and the room was much more comfortable than expected. It is the perfect first or last night hotel.

It is a private accommodation near the airport, therefore the noise is as expected (cars, airplanes, dogs). Despite, there was a time cap in the night when it was totally quiet!

Host Anchia was very nice and friendly. He also made suggestions for things to do in Costa Rica. Breakfast was great. Location was near the airport. There was a parking space about 40 meters away and it was locked so very secure.

It took us a little bit time to find it. We stopped at a bar host informed in advance and the bar staff directed us how to get there. But still not a big deal and relatively easy to find.

The host even drove me to the airport really early at a really fair price!

the Accomodation is new looks good 👍. we stayed there because we had a flight early in the morning and it was perfect to get easy and fast to the airport with an UBER. The owner is super helpful and we also got a nice welcome drink 😅🙌 (I totally didn’t expected this).
