Mattresses have never been rotated/flipped, so if you were laying on the side of the bed close to the nightstand, you spent the night rolling off (goes for both beds). Bathtub was cracked, and didn't have the drain plug, there was a clump of someone else's hair wound around the snap on the shower curtain, the drain stopper in the sink was stuck in the closed position and had to be held open with the lid of a coffee cup to allow the sink to drain. Because the rooms aren't carpeted, the sound of people walking in the room above was incredibly loud. Staff was friendly, breakfast was decent, pool was okay.

Excellent customer service at the Front desk! Clean room. Night time, I called because the heat system was blowing out cold air and making noise. Could not get another room because all rooms were full, I was told. I did not get a good night sleep at all and had to drive two hours home restless.

We enjoyed the newer building, delicious breakfast but the cleanliness of the bathroom in our room was less than desirable. It had clearly not been cleaned in quite some time, as was evidenced by the hair, dirt, grime in the shower and around the toilet. We enjoyed the pool and glad it was open, however the air temp was super cold and there clearly has been some water damage/leaks in that room with recent repairs. Overall, a decent stay. Just watch out for your bathrooms.

Clean hotel. Breakfast was good. Only complaint was beds were uncomfortable.

The good: the check in and out was smooth. The breakfast was about as you'd expect...nothing fancy but good enough. I thought it was funny the TV welcomed me into my room by name. I did like the shampoo and fact it wasn't the wasteful mini bottles, but I prefer bar soap. The less good: not so much bad, but there was a snafu with the key where I couldn't get into my room when I returned. Front desk got it fixed quickly so not huge deal, but an annoyance. Fridge didn't work. No liner for the ice bucket. No kleenexes in the holder. The ugly: there was someone else's dirty socks under the sink.

Location was very clean and bright upon arrival and our room was the same. Had selected based on reviews and it did not disappoint. 6 rooms were booked by myself and other family members, all had a positive experience. I liked the gym as well- used it every morning. Breakfast had good options. Would definitely book again.

It was a short stay, but enjoyable. The room was clean, and spacious. There was a pool table in the lobby and fun to play and have refreshments available. The area was convenient and beautiful as well.

I absolutely love staying at Tru locations. I always have an amazing experience but this location is lacking the customer service and warmth welcoming feeling.

Nice and clean hotel. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The heating system didn't feel like it was working properly. There was cold air coming through a gap in the unit. Staff was not friendly or hospitable. Breakfast was less than stellar, although it was hot. The gal made sure that the coffee cups were stocked, but failed to check to make sure there was coffee at breakfast time. Several guests did not get coffee at the busiest time and when it should have been readily available. Located among office buildings or warehouses and not many food options available within walking distance.

A little tricky to find at first, Tru by Hilton in Naperville was a nice stay for the family. Aside from the pool, the hotel also provided board games and has a pool table. On the downside, the rooms are not soundproof. However, the staff have a good policy to help keep noise down and ensure everyone can get a restful night’s sleep. Ultimately, a good basic level hotel with some surprising amenities.

When we arrived there was no staff at the desk for almost 30 minutes! There were several guests who were waiting to check in, but no one to be found. Despite loud calls for someone to assist us, no one came until almost 30 minutes when the front desk staff finally emerged from the bathroom. Then, the walls and floors are extremely thin, as we were kept up at night from the constant pounding and moaning of someone on the floor above use having sex. Plus you could here the footsteps of people waling around above you. All around a terrible stay!

Great motel. Staff was very nice and accommodating to our early arrival. Breakfast was good. The motel and rooms were very clean. I would stay there again.

The overall was very good but the room did not have any closet or shelf space in them. Further we were not clearly informed about the breakfast timings being different for weekends and weekdays.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom shower gels, lotions and other items smelled very good and refreshing. The room itself gave off a very good energetic vibe. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

The gentleman who checked us in and the lady who checked us out were super friendly and helpful, as were the housekeeping staff we encountered. Our room had two queen-sized beds and was very well-designed for convenience and usability, no drawers but excellent storage design with a bench with shelf, a shelf above the sink in the bathroom, and hooks at the door. I was also impressed with the amount of outlets in the room, including USB ports; I had brought an extension cord (as a CPAP user) but there was no need. Beds and pillows were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty, the pancake machine is fun to watch. Staff were responsive when the pancake or juice machines ran out and when I asked for the hot chocolate station to be refilled. The bathroom products are good quality and I loved the shower. The TV has a good selection of channels, my only complaint was it seemed to be internet-connected so it lagged/skipped at times. Overall a great stay and highly recommend (and that's saying something, we are picky travellers!)!

Overall not bad, however our room wasn’t cleaned/serviced on day 1 and they wouldn’t clean on day 2, even after we requested.

Great place with pet allowed policy. Clean, friendly staff. My only wish is that we get a choice to get a firm pilllow. All the ones that we got were too soft.
