The Aqua Lodges are docked in Hurricane Hole marina. A small marina where local fishermen bring charters. We enjoyed having morning coffee on our deck and watched the manatees and pelicans swim around us.

Nice place. Needs a thorough mopping after each guest stay. Good for 2 couples or family.

This property is amazing for the price. Be warned the sleeping loft may only be safe for children as the overhead room was minimal. The restaurant on site was fantastic, the staff super friendly and it was easy to get an Uber anywhere. If you choose to rent a car there is plenty of parking on site. One review we read complained about the noise of a working marine. We heard none. Overall a great place to stay. FYI. If you have any mobility issues let them know. Most boats have a ramp but a few do not.

Needs blackout curtains in bedrooms. Between the dock lights and sun rising at 6:00am it was difficult to sleep. Restaurant nearby at the marina had great food. Extra or thicker towels would have been nice. It was clean and quiet.

If you're looking for something unique, different, quiet and safe in Key West, I totally recommend this place. Plus you get to see manatees, all kinds of fish including sharks right from your balcony area, this is the place for you. I loved it.

Loved these adorable little homes on the water. So easy to find and get into. Loved having a restaurant right there and enjoyed a delicious dinner with my daughter. I would highly recommend! Only suggestion would be to add that the 2nd bed was in the loft…and that bed wasn’t made…even though they knew there were 2 people staying. Glad my kiddo was young or that would have been a fun night of drawing straws!

The location of our house was moved and was near the incoming of the other boats. Was constant moving of our boathouse. The lights outside at the restaurant and patio were left on all night. Window coverings were poor mini blinds allowing light into the house all night. A dumpster was near the walkway and was stinky. The mattresses were thin and hard, with very thin bed quilts. Couch was very uncomfortable.

Would have been 5 star but… The setting was beautiful with restaurant and bar in the marina. The houseboat was clean and cute but when you opened the sliding glass door you were slammed in the face with a very strong mothball odor. It actually took my breath away. I coughed and choked for 10 minutes. We had to open all the doors to try and air it out. Later that first night I grabbed an extra pillow from the closet by sliding glass door only to again choke and cough for 15 minutes. The odor was absorbed into the pillow itself. It did seemed to have dissipated or we got used to the odor… that is until we got home. Our suitcases, hair dryer and clothes smelled exactly like mothballs. Absolutely everything we brought had to be washed, whether worn or not, and or Febreeze and left out in garage overnight. While we loved the houseboat, we will not be returning until the choice of mothball use has been eliminated.

The place is cool, no doubt. The location is great and we even rented a boat for 25% off from them which was awesome. But the house boat absolutely reeked of that old people smell we all know... All of my stuff still smells and it is stinking up my house at home. I have to replace my backpack and other items that I couldn't get it off of. And the shower didn't work. It is not worth it...

Loved the stay. I wish the ally way had been more accessible for unloading my bags.

Excellent! Weekend getaway with my teenage son. Check in was very easy and the host, Pam was there to greet us. This hidden gem has it all. The boat house was very comfortable and clean. Beautiful sunsets, so many activities to choose from right on the property as well as a restaurant with fresh catch of the day from sea to table. Golf carts available to rent for your 5 minute drive to Duval. This place is perfectly situated for rest and relaxation and bar hopping, shopping, dining and excursions. Can’t say enough great things about this hidden gem. I will definitely be back…often. Thanks Matt and Pam!

The house boat was nice. Was disappointed the location of the boat .The boat was moved to the other dock and we were very close to our neighbors and the tiki bar.when I made reservations the boats were back to back not side to side on the other side.The tv didn’t work for 2 days.They worked on the dock for 2 days was loud and very unsafe to walk on. We were going to leave after 2 days but after talking to Jose who was very nice and he brought us a fire stick for the tv we decided to stay. We made the best of it for 4nights and had fun.

Houseboats were new and very comfortable, we will be back.

The property is not clean , crackers crumbs and lots of ants & cockroaches. I sent email and would like to file refund , but there was no response at all.

Absolutely loved the property! Staff is incredibly nice and the boat was very cozy and clean. The only thing I would suggest is come prepared with bug repellent.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this boathouse. There was plenty of room for the four of us, it was very comfortable and a great location. We even got to see a shark and manatees. My one complaint would be the lighting for the dock that shined right onto my face at night. Nothing a curtain couldn't fix. Would rent again.

The shower curtain had black mold all over it. So much so that it made the entire bathroom stink and unbearable. It was so disgusting that I will never stay at this property again. It doesn’t take much to just replace a shower curtain. Would have gone a long way had someone been paying attention while cleaning the unit and just replaced the shower curtain. So gross. Also, our neighbors on each side were smoking and totally ruined our time sitting on the deck. Thought this was a non- smoking property.

They responded quickly and with friendliness whenever we called with questions and requests. The houseboat was perfect and being on the water so quiet. The restaurant and bar Hurricane hole in walking distance had great food and drinks .

Staying at the Aqua Lodge at the Hurricane Hole in Key West was a great experience. The facility has two separate beds, a sleep sofa, and a full kitchen. The location is very convenient but away from the hectic old town area. While staying there, we walked across Route 1 to the Key West Tropical Forest and were delighted with the nature trails. We will definitely stay here again and look for other Aqua Lodge properties.

Loved being around nature throughout our honeymoon. The communication was amazing and great customer service. The only thing that sometimes was hard was when a large cockroach would come inside, but being with nature totally understand. Just an irrational fear 😆. Will totally book here again when we revisit the keys.

The houseboat is spacious and we'll kept. I felt safe and it was very quiet. The only thing I didn't like was the shower. The water pressure was low.

Different experience staying on a houseboat. Wonderful stay.

First I want to say the management and staff are excellent. One of our window AC units did not cool. No excuse was made. The manager went to the store and purchased a new unit, and installed it immediately. ( I have been to other places that did not offer this service). Next, just be aware that the picture of these units on the internet is not how they are positioned. They are lined up at the dock in a single file. If you are in Unit 1, you have a good view on 3 sides while sitting on the deck. Unit 2, 3, and 4, the only view is the back of the next unit unless you turn your chair to face the water, and 2 chairs will not fit comfortably. Unit 5, you will have sides to view.

Such a fun stay. We only had one night but really enjoyed the novelty. It was clean and comfortable although a little tight.
