We were thrilled with the promptness with which the host replied to a concern and the cleanliness of the cabin. The kitchen is stocked enough to cook simple meals. Since you don't see the actual address in a VRBO before booking, the cabin is not as remote as it may look in the photos. It's off of a relatively busy road for the area and you can often hear loud trucks and semis driving by at night. For some who may not be used to this kind of noise, pack earplugs or a sound machine for the kids. :) The front of this cabin faces someone's front yard directly across the street, so it doesn't feel private with the large window doors. Overall though, it's a good middle location in reference to different sites to see (Mammoth Cave, Abraham Lincoln's birthplace, etc.).

The cabin was awesome for our family of 4. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft, so we actually had an extra bedroom that could be used for other kids if a bigger family. There is very limited closet/pantry space, so you need to plan on keeping clothes in your suitcase & moderating your grocery purchases if cooking there a lot. Right across the street from a very well-run Dollar General.
Only watch-out is that if you are going to Mammoth Cave, you will probably want to make it a day-trip b/c it is ~40 min each way. This cabin is also extremely close to Nolin Lake, so super easy to rent a boat & hit the water.

Where to start? First impressionss were..."Cozy-pretty, smells good & CLEAN". After settling in we found the living-area furniture was bigger than we thought it would be & quite comfortable & the beds we're uber-comfy, which was much appreciated after spending most of our days hiking (local rec areas & trails near Mammoth Cave); touring Mammoth Cave & finding kayaks to rent near Green River. My sisters & I loved the huge harvest table where we'd gather for breakfast & plan our day(s). We also throughly enjoyed our nights around the fire-pit where we induldged in smores, a glass of wine & lots of laughter! Bottom line, we had a great time & would definitely recommend this perfect little (but not too little) A-frame!

This cabin is just adorable! You can tell it is newer and the owners put a lot of thought into making it cozy! The kids loved the loft and our family loved the fire pit every night! This cabin has everything you need for a very comfortable stay! It’s not far from Mammoth Cave and access to many trailheads around there area. Thank you for a wonderful experience❤️

Nice place with everything you could ask for. Though I think I found some poison ivy behind the house when looking for sticks to start a fire, but that's on me. Comfy beds, hot water, and Mario party board game. We enjoyed our stay.

The Aframe was a very nice property. It was brand new and very clean. Location to Nolan River Lake was great only 2 minutes. We also did some cave tours in the Mammoth Cave area. Thanks for having us!

It was wonderful we really never had a place to stay close to my brother. This place was absolutely perfect. He was just up the road and friends were right across the road. We will definitely be staying here when we come to visit my brother. I give this place 5+ stars.

We adored this roomy, comfortable A frame cabin! We were sad to leave when our stay was over. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware, we loved having a washer and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit out back was a favorite family memory! If ever we return to the area we will certainly book the Camp again!

This was our basecamp for a weekend exploring the caves. We enjoyed the house and the firepit outside. It was just the right amount of space for 3 adults and 2 children.

We LOVED the cabin! It was spotless as pictured. There was only 3 of us, but could probably comfortably sleep 6 here, if sharing beds. The owner was absolutely fantastic and responded almost immediately to a small issue we had. The location is a bit remote, but we knew that going in, so were completely ok with that. We had a great time exploring the area, and Mammoth Cave, which is about 35 mins to the visitor center. Lots of things to do and places to eat in Cave City, Leitchfield. Check out the guest book for ideas.
If you have kids - 100% DO NOT MISS "Kentucky Down Under" zoo and play with the kangaroos, sooo cool!
We can't wait to return and hopefully book the house next door as well

The house was exceptionally clean with all new appliances and conveniences. Wi-Fi was a little spotty, but was the same in the local area. Great location near Nolin lake and dam. Comfortable for 4-6 people. I would stay again.

We met our daughter and two grandchildren here for a long weekend. It was the perfect size for five of us. Kids loved the loft. It was clean and had everything we needed.
Angela responded quickly when i was unable to figure out an air conditioning issue. Operator error, of course.

We loved this cabin! It was everything we needed for a week of family time. This cabin was a cozy, comfortable place to rest and relax after spending the day exploring, but also wonderful on the two days it rained and we decided to play cards and just hang out. The entire family loved it!

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Tennessee. In the words of my 12 year old, "It had a very cozy vibe to it." We had fun exploring the area, playing games, and sitting by the fire pit. Definitely recommend this place!

We stayed for the weekend to check out Mammoth Cave. The accommodations were perfect- exceptionally clean. The place was as pictured, and the attention to detail made it feel like home (wish it was!). We had a great time exploring the area and couldn’t recommend staying here enough! Book this place asap, you’ll have no regrets!

We have been renting a frames ranging in size and style and this brand new a frame was the perfect cozy size for us and our three young boys. We took the KY scenic byway to Mammoth Cave and enjoyed plenty of the cabin’s charm just relaxing and playing games. The hosts were very accommodating and the cabin was super clean and tidy with stylish new furniture and kitchenware. Smart TV and wifi for movie nights and each room has its own climate control for max comfort! If you’ve never stayed in an a frame, this and the two going up nearby would be a great first experience!
