We enjoyed a peaceful stay enjoying the view and a few snow flurries. The electric fireplace was a bonus. Location canât be beat although the road is a bit steep but short. Transition from paved road to gravel road was a bit rough and needs to be filled in and smoothed out some. Communication with Pete was excellent and home was very clean. We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed beautiful views and spacious accommodations. Location was in the heart of Hiwassee allowing easy access to stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing views, beautiful house, and has all the amenities youâll need. We love how close it is to town while still feeling very secluded and quiet. Our toddler and dog loved hiking and the cool mountain air. We also really enjoyed playing ping pong downstairs and relaxing on the patio with a hot cup of coffee. We will definitely stay here again!

This property is great! We use VRBO a lot and this property was by far our favorite.
Itâs spacious, clean, centrally located. We cannot say enough great things! The view itself was well worth it. We are usually busy, running around but this time, we stayed on the property and didnât regret it!
Hiawassee is super adorable and everything is so close and convenient! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay. We had a few glitches with the internet not working and some housekeeping issues but Pete responded promptly and was great to work with. The location is convenient to restaurants and exploring the area. We enjoyed spending time on the deck enjoying the view of the mountains. We hope to return again soon.

We loved the cabin. The road going up to the cabin was narrow, but we made it. It had about 8 steps going down to the cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Loved the bed in our room.

The cabin was very clean and spacious, plenty of room for us and our two 20-something sons. The beds were super comfortable. The showers had great water pressure and we never ran out of hot water. The cabin feels secluded but it's a short ride into town. There's a cabin next door that you cannot see once you're inside this cabin or on it's deck. Nice view of the mountains. The owner touched base with us a couple of times just to make sure everything was good. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Beautiful house with beautiful views. It is located in a central town area - many things to do. Bell Mountain is a must-see! We enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure!

This was a great find! The home is very spacious--plenty of room for a family of four plus our dog. There's a large table perfect for meals, puzzles and game night.
The house was immaculate. Completely quiet and peaceful. We loved making smores outside at the firepit. Location was also great--5 minutes from town but it felt like a million miles away. We will definitely be back!

From the time we walked into the home, we could tell it was the right place for us. The openness of the room to the view of the mountains was breathtaking. My daughters hurried through the home claiming their rooms.
Pete was very easy to deal with before and during our stay. We had no problems and Pete was ready for hints on where to visit even prior to our arrival. Check in was easy and check even easier. The great weather was a blessing during our stay. I spent every morning out on the shaded, cool deck reading and listing to nature around me. Would love to come back to this home anytime.

The property was as listed and the view of the mountains was beautiful. The amenities were just what we were looking for and the proximity to the lake, hiking, town, the gardens, etc. while still feeling secluded and quiet made this stay a win. Would recommend and would return!

Our group of 7 had a great time at this cabin. The first thing you see when you walk in is the bright, open floor concept and beautiful views. Everything was very clean and smelled great, unlike other cabins I've been to with a musky air. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Plenty of seating for all of us to watch TV in the main area. All rooms had their own TVs too. We enjoyed the fire pit area and sang while enjoying our s'mores. Although there is a neighbor right next door, they were hardly home and very low key. Next time we stay in Hiawassee, this will be our go-to place.

This house is as described. It is close to a nice grocery store, super quiet and has beautiful view of the mountains. (This was March so the trees were bare.) We were there in for hiking. We were relatively close to Unicoi State Park and the trail head for the AT. Our host was very responsive and the house was super clean. The master bed was very comfortable and we slept well. On evening we played ping pong in the basement. This house would be great for a family vacation. Plenty of room for kids and an open concept main room. Even a fire pit for Sâmores. The porch looked fabulous but it was too cold for us to really enjoy it. The town of Haiwasee was unimpressive as it is a summer destination for boaters and lake activities but after a day of hiking we were glad to cuddle up by the fire and watch Netflix. We stopped by the towns of Hayesville, Blairesville and Helen. There is a good Italian restaurant on the square in Blairesville and a good coffee shop/ breakfast and lunch spot on the square in Hayesville. We drove to see the waterfalls near and in Highlands and hiked a few near this house. We really enjoyed our time in this area.

Weâve never been to Hiawassee, itâs a nice little place. Itâs not a high season which makes it very peaceful. The house has a very nice view and close to store and other stuff. The only thing is there is next door neighbor so you really not as secluded as you think. And the only windows donât have blinds/curtains are the ones facing next door. I donât understand why? Although there are trees but not enough to have privacy, but everything else was great!

Our first vacation in years was delightful. Check in process was effortless. Acommodations were superb and the view was one of the best we have ever had. Climb to cabin was short and paved all the way. House heated well as we had some cold nights duiring our stay. Very cozy!! Absolutely recommend and hope to get back next year,
