Quiet. Private. Quaint small town on the Pacific Coast near. Cape Blanco state Park.

I think this would be a great place to stay in the summer. Beautiful view of the lake, nice deck, interesting art, surprisingly well-equipped kitchen for a rental. However, it only has heat for the upstairs. (Both the central furnace and the fireplace were out of order, leaving a wall-mounted heat-pump unit near the top of the stairs. It only sent heat upwards.) The downstairs was very cold during our November visit, especially in the mornings. Also, note that the front door code will expire at your regular checkout time, even if you pay for the late check-out add-on. Make sure to leave another door unlocked until you're ready to go! (This isn't explained in the email.)

So peaceful and serene!

Location stunning. Parks, hikes, beaches within minutes. Only 0.3 miles to grocery. Kitchen a joy to work in, very well stocked with utensils. Comfortable furniture, including bed. We weren’t ready to leave. And now we’re ready to come back.

Nice place on the lake, although lake is not accessible. Older house with some good upgrades. Enjoyed our stay and Port Orford despite some smoke from a nearby fire.

Morning coffee and evening cocktails came with amazing lake views from the living room at Lizzie’s Landing. We loved our two-night stay at this spacious and well-appointed home overlooking Garrison Lake at Port Orford. The kitchen was large and fully equipped, including a washer and dryer. We had our choice of two large bedrooms and the two bathrooms had great showers. And there was incredible artwork displayed everywhere. But, it was the view that stole the show. We will definitely return.
