This house has the potential to be an amazing vacation rental. It is spacious, a short walk to the beach and close to so many things to do in the Fort Pierce/St.Lucie/Vero Beach area. This is clearly a new(ish) rental and it needs some things. Literally. The house needs furniture. There is no dining room table. There is plenty of space for a large table where guests can share meals and games. Unfortunately, the only place to eat currently is the kitchen island - which is great for a quick bite but doesn’t work for families gathering to hang out or enjoy a full meal. There also aren’t any coffee or end tables in the sitting areas. You are forced to hold your coffee/wine/other beverage or set it on the floor. There is an entire empty little office space near the entry that would make a great game room with a little table and sitting pillows or it could be a reading/lounging space - there are plenty of creative ways to use the space. It feels like such a waste to leave it empty. Kitchen - the kitchen itself is great. It is central and open with a fabulous island. The fridge is large and has both filtered water and an ice maker. The coffee maker is complicated, and also works well. The kitchen is missing basics like a cutting board, nonstick pan, sheet pan or two and small cooking utensils (most of the current cooking utensils are outdoor grill sized and unwieldy for kitchen use). Recommend replacing the coffee cups and wine glasses. Lights: most of the rooms have fan/lights that use a remote and most of the remotes are missing. Hot water - There is not enough hot water available. If you take 8 people to the beach and come back hoping for warm showers, the water is cold well before everyone is clean, even when strict 5 minute limits are applied. Communication - The lawn crew showed up unannounced in the middle of the day and proceeded to mow, weed etc., all around the house which was awkward since they could see inside.
