The house was quite spacious and the children enjoyed the books and toys that were provided. The rooms were comfortable with plenty of furniture to relax on and chat/play. We put the full kitchen facilities to use, including the coffee machine. The airconditioner kept the main communal area nice and cosy. The view was wonderful with a peaceful ambience. Gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Close distance to either Katoomba and Blackheath (5-10 min drive)

The smaller of the 2 frypans was not in good condition, so we didn't use it. Cooking for a large crowd with limited cookware was tricky. The airconditioner didn't seem to work too well at the main bedroom end of the house... was a bit colder than other areas. For a maximum of 10 people, 2 bathrooms/toilets is not quite enough... but we managed (there was 6 adults/3 children under 6yo). No tissues in tissue box, Only 2 sheets of paper towel left... we bought a roll and left it there for next guests. No tea towels... we were told to use smaller hand towels. We didn't see any visiting wildlife... not the fault of the hosts.

Views, size of the house, and kitchen were all great.

The location was superb, quiet and plenty of space for the four ladies having a weekend away from the frantic pace of the city and families. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Lovely showers with large bottles of shampoo and conditioner(required for people who need glasses to read). No squeezing the small tubes and confusing the shampoo with the conditioner here. Instructions for all appliances were handy. There was a massive projector screen and TV monitor for use. Shame we were unable to get the movies to work. Maybe needed some new batteries in the remote. Kitchen had all the appliances needed for our stay including pod coffee machine and frother. All living areas and main bedroom looked out over the valley.

The TV monitor and projector did not connect to TV channels so we were unable to get a snippet of news on the election night landslide. It was only for one night so not a major dilemma.

Location, size, showers, projector, beds, towels and the list goes on. Great location, next door to Hydro, 5mins to Katoomba and tucked away from others. Homely, feels warm and friendly.
