Very relaxing location. kids got lots of paddle boarding in and beach time. You don’t realize it but you are very close to freeway access and the rest of San Diego is 20 minutes away.

Although, the pictures are deceiving online, the property was quaint and fairly quiet. What I did like was the staff texted me to let me know if anything was needed. They would be there to help and that they were just a phone call away. The house was decorated very cute. We enjoyed the nightlife of the patio and were able to have fun sit around and talk. The things I did not like was the Jacuzzi was overly shocked, and our eyes would burn to even get in it. Therefore, we didn’t get a whole lot of enjoyment out of the Jacuzzi. I should’ve asked if there was air-conditioning that is on me. The only time is actually bearable was in the evening where the breeze would come in through the windows. Plane games in the back became a little difficult due to lighting. The only lights that actually worked were the black plug-in lights on the back patio. The lamp lights did not work. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware needed. The blender needed replaced so I actually replaced it with a new one so you may want to do away with the old one. I also added a small Keurig. I want to thank AvantStay and the owner for the hospitality. It was a central location close to so many things and this trip was a way to reflect on times in California as my spouse and I spent a lot of time here because this is where he was born and grew up. This place was very nice! The outdoor seating and location make it a perfect family getaway.

Loved the property, especially the back yard and location right on Mission Bay.
