We came down for spring break, two adults and four kids. The property was a block from the beach (really across the street). There were lots of beach toys, chairs and other items including towels and an umbrella. Garage parking was a huge perk. Washer and dryer made things easy. Kitchen extremely well appointed complete with spices, oil, coffee. Toaster, blender, even a mixer we were able to use for a birthday cake.
Downside for us were two. One to do with the rental and one the area. The hot water was melt your face off hot. It took us forever to get it to a tolerable temperature and the jacuzzi jets either don’t work or don’t have an obvious way to use them. The other was that the back was closed due to bacterial contamination. That was a huge bummer and definitely affected our stay.
Overall we would definitely stay here again as the beds were comfortable, it was close to the beach and there was room for our family of six.

We really enjoyed the "vibe" of this community to include the local restaurants and access to the beach/pier. In addition, the Tijuana estuary is a quick bike ride down the road.
The accommodations was setup perfectly for our family and the views to the ocean were amazing. Highly recommend to those looking for a classic beach town in San Diego.

Loved the house for our weeklong beach vacation. Had everything we could ask for to enjoy the beach - boogie boards, extra chairs, sand toys, and towels. The extras in the house were also helpful for the longer stay! Decorations, furniture and amenities made it seem like we were in a home instead of vacation rental. Definitely coming back. Beautiful sunset views from porch. One of the better places we have stayed at in IB.
