I'll start by saying this place has a lot of pluses. The sound of the ocean and the ocean views/decks are great. The space is open and nice for a group/our family. It has a nice pool right in front, it's a small condo building (much preferable to a big one), beach right in front, bakery across the street, good coffee shop nearby....a lot of pluses. Sunsets and sunrises were beautiful, walkable to restaurants. Drivable to a great beach park. However, for the price, there are many things I would expect to be better and could be improved. It was very obvious when we got in that none of the floors of the kitchen/living/dining room were cleaned. Our feet felt gross and were dirty after walking around, which was unfortunate especially with a toddler roaming around. I did message the cleaner and she came right away to mop after I vacuumed the house, which we appreciated, but again for the price I expect more. The mattresses of both king beds were quite soft and uncomfortable. One family member moved to the Murphy bed because it was more comfortable. The fan upstairs was very confusing, had no instructions, and as the main source of cooling, took a few nights to figure out how to run and how to make it go the right direction. Once it worked it was great, but there needs to be clear instructions otherwise it's way too hot up there without AC. I think if several relatively minor things were improved I would stay there again.

Conrad and Natasha's place is absolutely stunning. We had an amazing time and truly got to unwind and relax. The huge glass doors open up all the way and it's as if you have the entire Pacific Ocean in the living room! You get to enjoy the beautiful, tropical ocean from everywhere in the place, so you always feel like you're enjoying the ocean. The open doors let in the ocean breezes and keep the condo cool and fresh. The condo itself was very clean and fully stocked, it has everything you need to feel at home. Lots of beach towels, and bath towels, beach chairs, every kitchen item you could possibly need. Communication with Conrad was excellent. We look forward to staying again!

What an amazing place to stay! So close to everything and right next to the cutest beach ever!

I loved the location of this property! Equal distance to North Shore and South Shore. Loved the pool and beach right out the back door. Amazing views! Enjoyed the walking proximity to Coconut Marketplace and Lava Lava Beach Club. The condo itself was very clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the Lanai. The owner was also very responsive. I would definitely rent here again when we return to Kauai for vacation.

Conrad was very responsive, let us check in early and the house was amazing. Literally steps to a private little beach. Nice pool, quiet and polite people around. Would 100^% stay here again.

We were here for a couples trip, we spent a week. This condo was perfect for our group! The location made it easy to get to activities on the north and south shores. The view is amazing and there are restaurants and stores nearby. We would stay here again!

Although this is a nice condo, it has a lot of issues. The front door porch light didn't work, making it difficult to enter at night. There were a lot of lights not working in the condo. It does not have air conditioning and the 3 box fans and 1 eco fan are not enough to cool the condo. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms had roaches and ants, which we continually had to spray. The bbq grill had not been cleaned in months, we had to clean it. The wine fridge leaks water all over the floor. The closets and drawers are so full of stuff, you can't hang your clothes up or put them in drawers. The back sliding doors, would not lock, and the screens are torn and taped. The third bedroom is not a bedroom as there is no closet or drawers, only a fold out murphy bed. The 2nd bathroom (guest) does not have a jetted tub as advertised. We enjoyed visiting Kauai, but I would not rent this condo unless it is cleaned, maintenance items addressed, pest control done, and more efficient fans for air flow.

We had the most amazing family vacation! 10 out of 10! Our view at our rental, the location and the owner’s assistance to area trip ideas or response to our condo request/ needs was wonderful! We would return to Kauai in a heart beat! Breathtaking!

We were 2 families, total 4 adults and 3 children , accomodation was perfect for us. All had enough slace for sleeping. Beautiful house and neighbourhood, we enjoyed property fully. Kitchen was fully equipped. All home and kitchen items e..g vessels , towels , soap were good quality. One of the room bedsheet had stain and hair found when we arrived, which we changed to another since they had extra sheets so was not difficult to change. One of the room's fire alatm went off one night but was fixed immidiately on attention. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool with nice warm water. Outside view was spectacular. Coconut market is close by where you can get souvaniers and grocery shopping if plan to cook. Overall it is beautiful rental property highly recommend to stay.

We love the area, the pool is nice, and lots of stores/restaurants. We did have a few minor issues with the property, but the management company took care of it quickly. There is no AC but we didn’t have a problem with it, if we got warm we just went for a refreshing swim. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our fam. We would stay here again!

We stayed 5 nights in this beautiful property. Incredible beach views, well stocked kitchen, constant ocean breeze! Loved having that huge door open and taking it all in. Conrad was great communicating with anything we needed. Very convenient location to area attractions. Definitely recommend.

This property might have gotten a higher rating but for several not insignificant items. The listing is for 3 bedrooms but it turns out one of the bedrooms is a murphy bed in an alcove. It has a sliding door but no closet (so it's not technically a bedroom) and the bath is not adjoining and doesn't have a shower. The bed wasn't even set up! The back bedroom also had problems. The closet was stuffed with smelly beach equipment and the bed had a decided slant. The views from the balcony were terrific!

This is the third time we have stayed at the Hale Awapuhi building as its location charm and amenities are fantastic. This is the first time on this unit. The kitchen is large and rather well stocked. The balcony with its views and own BBQ is great. The upper bedroom is very large and the back bedroom is nice and quiet. Also, we called Cindy for a small issue and she called back quickly and was rather nice, she is great! The third bedroom was a major letdown. First, a bedroom this is not - it space is almost filled by the so called bed when it is open. The furniture part is a 3-piece rolled out set of ‘drawers’ that fit into each other. Now, a tri-folded, 6.5in foam pad a bed does not make. The end of the foam pad is longer that its support so our feet hanged out. The description says it is a queen size, I beg to differ since I have a queen s ize and my feet do not hang out. Second, two of the windows could not be covered, no blinds and no curtains, taken away the privacy needed in a room with two adults. Third, no closet and no drawers so our two open suitcases had to stay on the space between the ‘room’ and the kitchen. Is it expected to place our clothes on any other room? Wrong expectation since everyone go on vacation to fully relax not to worry where our clothes are. Fourth, the bathroom was supposed to have a ‘combination tub/shower’. With no glass doors or shower curtains, what it has is a low level handheld shower head, which, a shower does not make! We had to use the other showers to have the basic privacy and relaxation needed on a bathroom. If you make the third room a true bedroom and upgrade the bathroom, the unit will definitely be fantastic.

This was a lovely place on the ocean, with access to a beach that was mostly too rough for swimming, but gorgeous to look at, and a really nice pool. Other guests in the complex were pleasant and respectful. The unit was well-equipped, though the appliances could use better instructions (e.g., turning the upstairs fans on, using the washing machine) and the house rules need some updating. (The housekeeper helped us out with the fans and with some additional sheets. We figured the washing machine on our own after some confusion regarding re-setting it.) Overall, a great stay.

Really enjoyed staying here. It was convenient to get around and close to lots of places. The views were really amazing. It was quiet and relaxing. Also if you like to cook the kitchen is nice and well equipped. Host was communicative and helpful.

We had a fantastic experience. Great views. Quiet complex. Great pool and beach. No crowds!!!! Our group of 8 total stayed comfortably. No AC, but not required! Great trade winds and fans in the house. Noisy 4am roosters!!!! Ha! Bummer they were painting the building and some scaffolding was near our property, the workers were super polite though. Well equipped house- great kitchen, bathrooms, even washer/dryer. Was pretty clean, a few things here and there but overall great condo! Would definitely return! Thanks for a fantastic stay! Aloha!!!!!!

We loved the location of the property and Cindy the property managers was great! Unfortunately the unit needs some TLC - significant maintenance from the closet doors to the electrical outlets and fans, sinks that don’t drain. I could go on….This can be a fabulous unit with some TLC.

The kids loved the pool and the beach, we loved the condo and central location near kapa’a!

The location of this property can't be beat. The beach is amazing; we snorkeled there one morning and had a blast! Spectacular sunrises. The condo itself is beautiful with gorgeous views of the water. Enough room for our party of 7. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful condo with beach access and a great pool. All the comforts of home. Sleep to the sounds of the ocean and awake to the sounds of the birds. The view is gorgeous day and night. Comfy for 8.

We had a fabulous time staying in this home. The location was great for walking to restaurants and shops. The oceanfront location and views were incredible. We stay in vrbo’s and air bnb’s regularly, and this host was amazing. High recommendations all around.
