It was really quite quiet, surrounded by trees and in a cute neighborhood, and the house felt more spacious and high-quality than many I've stayed in. The beds were VERY comfy - including the luxury bunks downstairs - and everything was relaxed and cozy. My crew and I stay in Tahoe once a year to work on production and performance at an event in one of the big Casinos, and it was SO nice to have our house just a pleasant stroll away this time (rather than having to drive.) We were very happy with our stay, and loved that it cost less than one of the big houses further away. We will be back!

Reviewer Comments: We came for a summer time family vacation, and now we’re debating whether to rent the same cabin again every year for summer or winter trips. Perfect location—5 min walk to the beach and 2 minutes or more to Heavenly Village, casinos, and all the state line shops and eateries. You can rent boats, jet skis, canoes, etc. at the beach. You can take the Heavenly Gondola up for some sight seeing/hiking. I wish I had more time to rent a kayak near emerald bay or hike along the west shore ridges. Wonderful and well appointed kitchen with all the cook, bake, serve, flat, or anything-ware you could possibly want to serve up a tasty and eye-pleasing meal for your family. I loved the double bunks (twin over full) downstairs, with TV and play station (bring an HDMI cord), so the kids can make it their own space and use their own bathroom. RNR made it easy for us to check-in and out. Pro-tip if you’re flying into Reno, you can take a $35 shuttle, per person, to South Lake Tahoe, instead of a $100 Uber or $200 can ride. But you have to schedule landing before last shuttle departure.

This was my first vacation in over 11 years. I really needed it. My husband and I took care of aging family members, it was our turn to unwind. We did include my son and his family with us. From the moment we drove up to the last day... it was just fabulous. The grandkids had so much fun, the games the homeowner had in the cupboard were great and we had fun watching them play on the game console (Pac-Man, donkey Kong etc). The amenities were just perfect. From the kitchen set up, to TV's in every room, to bathroom supplies and most of all the Dog crate and basket of dog bowls and mat... we had a home away from home. ( We brought our dog up the last moment) The one warning I have for those coming there... there are 3 fights of stairs to consider. I had injured my foot the week before I left, and this was a little challenging. Not to mention carrying everything up and back down those same stairs. The location is perfect for South Lake Tahoe. Close to the State Line, shopping, Heavenly Valley Tram, hiking, biking and looking at the Lake. They do charge at the closest beach per person even to walk on the sand. There are beaches up the way that only charge for parking (better for us). What more can I say about my week experience at this wonderful place, I had a simply marvelous time. I look forward to my next trip to Lake Tahoe. Thank you to the owner.

Great location, near village, casinos, and lake shore. Unit is upstairs. It was nicely appointed with high end linens, comfy furniture, modern kitchen, ample flat screens, and a nostalgic arcade sized game with 400 titles from the 70s!

The kitchen had everything you could want or need. Very spacious and we would stay there again! The Pac Man console kept our grandson (and us) entertained for hours. Had an issue with the coffee maker and within a few hours they brought us a new one.
