All 3 generations found something to do, help with meals at house, and participate in wonderful birthday dinner at a restaurant on Shelter Island. Younger generation enjoyed the hot tub. 11 people had places to sleep and shower. We would definitely book again. On a busy street but no street noise in the house due to sloping landscape.

We had a guys golf trip planned and ended up staying at this house. Overall everyone enjoyed everything about the house. House was clean and fully stocked with what we needed. We will definitely stay at this house again if we decide to golf Torrey Pines again.

We had a family reunion and wanted to rent a house that would accommodate our whole family. And boy, did we luck out! This house was so comfortable, with plenty of space to spread out and never feel crowded inside and out, a well stocked kitchen to enjoy meals in, walkable to restaurants and the beach, and quiet! We’d recommend to anyone.

Our extended family of 12 (half of which were teens and kids) stayed here for 1 week in July 2023 for a sibling reunion. We had a GREAT time and a HUGE part of that was finding this affordable La Jolla Shores rental with plenty of off-street parking, nice decor/amenities, plenty of beds, an upstairs kids “lair” and enough space to fit everyone (even w/neurodivergent kids)! People had space for down time, there were plenty of good bathrooms/beds, the provided kitchen equipment met all of our needs (most breakfasts, a few other meals plus grilling), and plenty of bath /beach towels (& beach stuff) we’re provided. Two suggestions for the owner upgrade the sofas (comfort/size/sleeper) & add lighting in the LR. The best part: We could walk everywhere easily - the beach (great vibe), a good snorkeling spot, kayak tour providers, amazing ice cream, great shops & restaurants, all in a lovely neighborhood to boot. Austin, the property manager, was very attentive & friendly, moreover, he was persistent and got things done! Our request for an air filter change on the weekend that we arrived was accomplished in a timely fashion. Even the one disappointing thing eventually got resolved - the hot tub initially didn’t work, but after multiple troubleshooting visits by servicemen (Austin coordinated), w/in 36 hours the problem was found & fixed (electrial cord/panel needed replacement). It’s a bit old w/ a few non-functioning jets, but our group enjoyed using it twice!

Our large party spent 5 nights here. We couldn’t been more happy with the location (La Jolla cove is only 5 mins drive, all nice restaurants are either few mins walk or drive) and most importantly house is fantastic in every way. Lots of space for everyone. All bedrooms except one had king bed(s) which accommodated our party perfectly. House was extremely clean and comfortable, both indoor and outdoor furniture is very high quality, home is beautifully decorated, and most importantly bed mattress are extremely comfortable and linens are what you expect to see in five star hotel. This house is well stocked with all household supplies. All five bathrooms had soap, shampoo & conditioner bottles, which we thought was a nice touch. Backyard is very clean & private with hot tub to relax after a fun day at the beach! La Jolla beach is only 10 mins away and house came with essential beach equipment - chairs, mats, towels & umbrellas - all beach amenities are high quality, clean and very well maintained. The property management was very responsive throughout our stay and they were quick to answer any of our questions, professional and customer service oriented - they truly deserve the recognition for providing the five star experience by taking care of every details. All in all, we highly recommend this property, it truly exceeded our expectation, we attribute the prime location and charming beauty of this property we’re the key in making our stay a very memorable San Diego vacation!

Had a wonderful time with our family; kid-friendly! If you love to cook, you might bring your own cooking supplies as they are a little light.

The stay was fine, host was very communicative, allowed us to check in early and even stay a few hours later. Neighborhood was awesome, hot tub was nice, overall stay was great.
