This property did not live up to its potential. The dishwasher needs to be replaced. Wall heaters did not work. Bathroom windows were broken in the open position. With a cold and rainy week, we had to “stuff” the windows to hold enough warmth for sleeping. Some of the dishes that were provided were too dirty to use. One of the bathroom sinks did not drain well. I believe this rental has potential, but there is a lot of work needing to be done. We were disappointed with this house. This was our first time trying a rental home through VRBO. One member of my family has decided to not rent from VRBO due to this experience. Another member of my family said they may try it again.

First of all, we had a fantastic time. This house is BIG. The property manager was absolutely awesome and even came out to the house when I had problems starting the gas fire pit. A+ to him and to Sophie. He is a 10+ Outstanding communication..This house was big, with plenty of room. It was steps away from the bay and a very short walk to the beach. You can walk to either pier, and even the amusement park.The garage parking was a huge plus. It was actually an A+.The front yard with the fire pit was probably my favorite part of the house. There is a gas grill My friend and I took seven kids to enjoy Mission Beach, and this house was perfect for that. Plenty of Space to stretch out and the use of all the futons for sitting and sleeping was magnificent. The only reason I did not give this five stars is because I felt some of the amenities were lacking. The picture of the upstairs rooftop deck did not in match what was actually up there. The furnishings were very sparse and in disrepair. They probably needed more linens for any more than 10 people. And the coffee maker leaked and the toaster didn’t work very well. But those are all relatively minor fixes. There was limited seating for meal times. A very small table with only five chairs is difficult when your party is large. I know this property is relatively new for them, and with a couple of tweaks this place will be beyond great. I would rent this again in a heartbeat, just remember to bring your own beach towels. They had beach chairs there as well as a couple of other games for the kids to take to the beach.

Stayed here with a group of friends and had a blast! Lots of room, great location, and were able to thoroughly enjoy San Diego because of it. Definitely recommend for large groups.
