Die Lage ist ein Traum. Wir haben es zu jeder Tageszeit genossen, vom Balkon aus die grandiose Aussicht auf die umliegende Bergwelt mit den schneebedeckten Gipfeln zu bestaunen. Der kostenlose Sessellift liegt fast direkt vor der Tür und man kann direkt hinter dem Haus schöne Wanderungen starten. Mit dem Auto erricht man darüberhinaus weitere faszinierende Seitentäler und Gipfel. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und Komfort, vor allem der großzügige Wohn-Essbereich hat uns sehr gefallen.

Our second stay at this lovely chalet - its location in the heart of the ski resort yet right on the main piste down to the lift is perfect. Very comfortable chalet with everything you need. Highly recommend.

The chalet is in a great location, only a few steps from the slopes. Due to its proximity to the ski piste, there is no direct car access, and luggage will have to be carried up to the chalet across a small foot path.m The chalet is very well-equiped, and offers great views of the surrounding mountains. We (a family of five) had a wonderful time.

The chalet has a beautiful view over the valley, it is well equipped and the contact with the owner was very good. We, 2 adults and our two childrens (11 years), had a relaxing week and there are many activities possible.

Le chalet est très agréable et parfaitement fonctionnel. Nous avons profité de la vue incroyable depuis le balcon et de la cheminée car il a neigé pendant le séjour. Petite contrainte, l’accès au chalet depuis la route, un peu difficile avec les bagages et les courses. C’était tout simplement un magnifique séjour en famille dans un cadre cocooning et chaleureux. Merci !

La vue est magique, le chalet est très agréable, la description est parfaite. Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire !

The place is beautiful, the location ideal. Despite the bedrooms being tiny they were fine for the 10 days and they were better than the photos on the listing and the beds were comfortable. The living space was spacious and very comfortable and the house was well equipped. The balcony has spectacular views! The cleanliness was ok, just a bit more care needed when cleaning under beds and cupboards and cornes which were dusty and dirty. The chalet not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there is no car access and a steep climb from the road which kept us fit carrying luggage and food shops! We visited in the summer and there is access to lots of amazing walks. Overall I would definitely recommend it!

Le chalet est très bien situé, dans le village historique, au calme, à quelques mètres des pistes et des sapins. Le séjour était parfait, le chalet est très confortable, spacieux, rien ne manque. A refaire avec grand plaisir et sans aucune hésitation, hivers comme été. Un grand MERCI aux propriétaires.

Le chalet est super et correspond à l'annonce. Il manque des rideau sur les vitres du haut de la baie vitrée pour se protéger de la chaleur. Le décodeur TV en panne à notre arrivée n'a pas été remplacé , donc 15 jours sans TV dommage ou pas ...

A beautiful large chalet which suited our group of two families with kids absolutely perfectly. Everything and more we needed for a relaxing end of season ski break. The chalet is perfectly located approx 10m away from the blue run behind it allowing you to ski down to the main chair lift with ease. Or walk down through the cut-throughs to get to the boulangerie and supermarket in less than 5 mins. Inside the chalet the hosts have provided everything you could possibly need and the big balcony with breathtaking views is amazing. Thoroughly recommend - and we hope to return again soon!

Chalet très bien équipé mais c'est dommage d'avoir la wifi et pas les chaînes de télévision françaises à part Tv5monde dans un chalet en Savoie.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the Easter break. Chalet has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxed ski trip. Especially enjoyed the open fire, the fully equipped kitchen and the spectacular view from the balcony. When we arrived finding the chalet at night in snow was a little tricky as was transporting the gear - but once you are settle in it’s a great location for the pistes. Be aware the trip to and from the village supermarket / bars etc. involves an uphill / upstairs walk, good exercise though!

This was our first visit to Saint Foy and one of the best chalets we have ever stayed in. We were a group of 8 friends and found there was plenty of space for us all. The chalet has stunning views, gets the sun all day, is super comfortable and very conveniently located just off the piste. Although the WiFi was unpredictable, the chalet was extremely well equipped with everything from CDs to potato peelers and cosy blankets to raclette sets! It was also wonderful to find the logs for the fire stacked up ready outside with kindling ready to go. The owners really had thought of everything. A few tips: the guy in the supermarket is great fun ‘Yes chef!’, steer clear of the restaurant ‘Le Bergerie’ and look out for free fireworks on NYE! We would highly recommend this chalet and hope to return ourselves!

We wilden onze 4 kinderen graag laten kennis maken met de Alpen, nou dat is gelukt! Toen we in het chalet aankwamen waren ze volledig door het dolle heen. Niet alleen de bergen vonden ze fantastisch, maar ook het chalet, de hangmat, de stapelbedden. En niet te vergeten alle beestjes die ze probeerden te vangen rondom het chalet. Ze zijn er uren zoet mee geweest. Ondertussen was het goed toeven in de ligstoelen achter het huis met een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. De uitrusting van het chalet was zeer compleet, ook van binnen (en vanaf het terras) is het uitzicht overigens prachtig. Contact met de hulpvaardige eigenaar kwam eenvoudig tot stand. We hebben genoten van de rust en stilte rondom het chalet. In de omgeving hebben we een paar mooie wandeltochten gemaakt. Kortom een erg geslaagde zomerweek in een rustig deel van de hoge Alpen!

We have been visiting St Foy for the last eight years and this year we stayed at the beautiful Chalet Icogne. Its at the top of the resort in the beautiful upper village area. The view from the living room is spectacular and completely uninterrupted. Its south west facing so you get sun throughout the day which just adds to the holiday if you ever decide to take a break from the slopes. The upper village is very pretty but also means you ski down to the lift and ski lessons, so you never have to carry the kid’s skis or polls. This is a true ski in/out chalet with only tiny little walk to the opening onto the slope. We would leave our skis outside the front door each night and boots (etc) inside the front door in the very convenient 'boot changing' entrance room. The bedrooms are simple but very nice with a double, twin and bunk bed room (for 4). The living room has a lovely feel to it. Its gets fantastic light and is a beautiful space to relax in for breakfast, lunch and especially at night after a days skiing. There is also covered parking a little distance away which means your car is ready to go with no 'dig out' on the day of your departure. All in all this is a fantastic Chalet for a family (or two, as accomodates 8). The location is awesome and we look forward to returning next season. Patrick.

Chalet Icogne is well appointed and Ste. Foy Tarentaise is a wonderful, cozy ski resort. We were 6 adults and the chalet was very comfortable. The chalet is definitely "ski in" and it is just a short walk between 2 chalets to the slope. On the bottom floor, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have double beds and one has 2 bunkbed sets (4 people). The bathrooms are also all located on this ground floor. You have 1 bathroom with a toilet/sink, a 2nd bathroom with shower/sink and the 3rd bathroom with bathtub/shower combo, sink, toilet. None of the bedrooms is "en-suite" Upstairs is the main living area with absolutely breathtaking views. There is a well appointed kitchen, a nice large table and a wood burning firplace, comfortable sofas/stereo/TV. WiFi worked well. The owners have a parking space in garage but unfortunately this garage is not connected to the chalet. ! It is actually below the chalet so you take a lift up from the parking garage and then walk about 100m, slightly uphill to the chalet. The narrow snow covered path can prove difficult and a little treacherous especially at night and when carrying luggage, supplies. However, it is nice not to have to clean your car after a heavy snow fall! Over all the chalet is very nice and extremely convenient for skiing and/or snow shoeing. We look forward to returning. One TIP... if you vacation in Ste. Foy during a busy UK holiday period, it is necessary to make dinner reservations ahead of time.
