Almost everything you need for a great vacation on Okaloosa Island. Ground Floor and huge patio makes it especially kid friendly. Play in the sand right outside the door with handy hose/shower to wash off. Comfortable beds and wonderful living room furniture. Strongly recommend.

We absolutely loved this place! I’ve been looking for a time to come back ever since we left. If you’re looking for somewhere to get up in the morning, spend quiet time walking on the beach or sitting under an umbrella then relax the rest of the day this is it! Beach was not crowded and just a few steps away from your back deck. The place came with complimentary umbrella and beach chairs that were set up waiting for you early in the morning. The house was amazing with I can’t stress enough, everything you might need. It was decorated nicely, comfy beds, very roomy, clean and convenient to everything Destin offers without the crowd.

My family just enjoyed a week at family tides! The first floor entrance made everything very close and convenient for my teen daughter who has a broken foot. Not to mention, it was a breathtaking view when we first walked in! This condo is very close to some of the top resturants on Okaloosa Island. You can tell the owners take pride in this condo with how well kept the property is. Also, all the extra amenities made our beach days wonderful!

This condo was beyond great! Exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed! We loved our stay! We had family come and visit us and everyone loved it! The beach is right out the door and the pool was a hit also! We would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect! Beach beautiful and a short walk right out the back door to it. The area is not crowded but is a short drive to many things. I’d definitely stay here again.

Opening the door to the back patio early in the morning and hearing the crash of the waves hitting the beach is priceless. When it said it is on the beach, it is on the beach. Had a wonderful time and would rent again.

The condo was perfect for my family for a quick getaway. It was very welcoming and had everything we needed for meals. It is beautifully decorated and spacious. It was awesome to feel at home at the beach. The location is perfect, being an end unit on the ground floor. Watching the sunrise on the patio every morning with a cup of coffee was heaven! My two small kids also loved playing on the large patio. We look forward to coming back!

The condo wasn’t cleaned as good as it normally is typical dust and dirty laundry room. Overall the stay was fabulous close enough to the necessities and food places and plenty of stuff to do.

This property in general is very well managed and seemed to be well cared for. My daughter and her family were in this unit and we were on a unit on the second floor. This unit is ground floor, so we didn't expect a great view and that was the only thing that might have been less than perfect. Otherwise, everything we needed was there and everything worked. The only bad thing I have to say about our trip is that Ft. Walton is terrible about recycling. I had saved cans and plastic bottles all week, intending to dispose of them environmentally, but ended up throwing everything in the trash because I couldn't find a recycle bin anywhere. This is a terrible example coming from a community that otherwise seems to be trying to preserve natural habitats and protect their sea animals.

Overall the condo was great. Access to the beach was so easy and close. No parking pass was in the unit and the WiFi wouldn’t work when we got there but the owner was awesome and got us access as soon as she could. She was very responsive.

This property was amazing ! The property was HUGE and had everything you needed for your stay plus some. So close to the beach and not overly crowded . The decor was tasteful with a beach vibe ! Cherith was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to staying here again . :)

We love Okaloosa Island and the Surf Dweller is a gem! It's smaller so the pool is never packed, and the units are HUGE compared to other properties. We love this ground floor unit because it walks right out and has a HUGE patio. Both bedrooms are ginormous and the main area is as well. This is my go to unit if I'm in the area. Ownership recently changed and the new owner is just as lovely to work with as the old one was.
