I liked the location because it was in the square. Restaurants were very close... The building is old and has historical value. I have a problem with walking & lifting ...cannot walk far. The staff were extremely helpful, warm and co-operative. I needed to rest and loved the balcony overlooking the square and watch the world go by. Breakfast was nice and inviting set in an authentic old room with fresco on ceiling. Also bedroom had fresco.
No lift but they helped me with my baggage. Service with a smile.

This room was incredible. Truly felt like staying in a palace. To lay in bed and stare up at the Fresco on the ceiling and the crystal chandelier. And to open the window onto the main town square to hear the bells. Was amazing.
Staff were really great too. They didn't speak much English but we still managed to communicate well and with a smile :)
My only complaints would be the bed was a little on the uncomfortable side even though it was huge and the breakfast offering was a bit small. I love the cafe that we were given vouchers for but I need a bit more than a croissant and a coffee to start my day.

The location is perfect - right in the heart by Piazza Italia - Conte is a wonderful piece of architecture, with fresco ceilings, 6 metre high rooms and gorgeous floor tiles.
The balcony overlooked Piazza Italia and has a great view of the hill area around the town as well as the view of the Baroque monastery.
The staff and owners were delightful, very attentive and super welcoming.
Highly recommended!
The only gripe is that breakfast is served in a nearby cafe - it is fine, coffee and a pastry but I would have preferred it in the Conte. However not really anything to detract from the wonderful stay there

The B&B is in a really nice location in front of a magnificent Church in Piazza Italia.
The rooms are quite, very spacious and clean.
Unfortunately we stayed there only for one night, but I wish to be back soon to stay longer!
Paola and the owner were very helpful and friendly.

Cozy large rooms and shared areas. Friendly staff. Breakfast was a voucher for a nearby cafe. Perfect location with nice views.

The pleasant welcome and service from the staff that makes you feel at home, with a generous, fresh morning breakfast. The best location in centro with no need to take the car to discover this beautiful city, all attractions and restaurants at walking distance. Parking available.

Location. Private secure parking. Nice big room. Good bath. Staff spoke English. Good breakfast considering it was off season.
Having to haul luggage up so many steps to the 3rd (?) floor where the B&B is. Not uncommon in many historic buildings.
