We booked the Sunshine Shack for a week while my son played in a New Year’s Baseball tournament. My family from central Florida was able to come up and join us. The bedroom with attached bath on the first floor was ideal for my elderly parents. The bunk room was perfect for the cousins and the top floor loft was great for my teenager. Just the space we needed. I will definitely book again. One of our best vacations !

The location was great. The tram made going to the beach so easy but honestly, not a far walk. Perfectly located between Alys and Rosemary Beach. Absolutely loved our vacation. We will be back!

The Sunshine Shack is super! It is nicely furnished and very clean. The beds are super comfortable. The living/dining area have plenty of comfortable seating. The complex is very nice and the pool is great. Kitchen has all the utensils/appliances you might need. Highly recommend!

The house was great! It was well stocked, probably the best we’ve stayed in. They have plenty of beach towels, no need to bring your own. The bikes were a wonderful addition being so close to Rosemary Beach. Although they needed a little attention, the bike rental close to the house aired up the tires and helped us adjust a few things on the bikes. The only thing that was a little disappointing this trip was the beach access. I didn’t realize how far it was, although the tram takes you very close to the drop off. But our beach access was very crowded just not what we’re used to while staying on 30A. The community pool was great, but it closed four times for various reasons while we were there, including one full day. When you arrive, you have to get wristbands in order to go to the pool and have beach access, so contacting security pretty quickly will help your stay move along. Overall great location, wonderful neighborhood, will definitely stay in this location again.

We were excited about the property and our vacation but there are some cons that we experienced that we feel need to be addressed for other potential customers. First, the ac filters and the fan blades were full of dust and dirty. The cleaning crew needs to address asap. Second, the bikes that are in the listing had no air pressure. We contacted the property manager and notified her but we were told that we would have to take the bikes down to the shop to get them filled. I don't believe this should be the case for a customer and it should be checked by the maintenance frequently. For people that don't know, this area is full of bikers and it would have been great to have a nice, working bike as listed. Thirdly, the fire alarms went off at 5am on our checkout day multiple times and my wife and 3 month old infant had to evacuate outside. When contacting the 'emergency' line we did not get through and we were not called back at all. We had to keep calling and finally the property manager picked up after an hour and told us she would text maintenance to check it out.

We enjoyed everything the property had to offer. The house was as advertised, but with the price we paid we hoped there would be a few things that were not provided. For example when we got to the house, every single bathroom and sink didn't have soap. We were provided no trash bags and the trash outside wasnt taken as stated in their welcome booklet. Other than this the house was great!

This house is absolutely perfect! Beautifully decorated and in a wonderful little community. Owner and property mgmt were great to work with. Our car had a dead battery upon departure and the property mgr immediately arranged for someone to come give us a jump! Great property! Close to beach and pool and extremely clean.

By FAR, the nicest beach house I've ever stayed in!!! Plenty of space for everyone, spotlessly clean, well-stocked, and so many fun activities to do: the beach, the pool, walking to get ice cream and sno-cones, and biking around the neighborhood and trails! The live music at night at the front of Seacrest was lots of fun, too. I highly recommend The Sunshine Shack!!

This was the perfect vacation home for my family. The homeowner was extremely gracious and such a pleasure to work with. We loved the layout of the home and found it to be decorated like a model. Although the home was beautiful, it was also very comfortable and spacious. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were large amounts of plush towels for everyone to use. These homeowners take no shortcuts. You can tell they go above and beyond for their guests. The property manager, Teresa, was also so helpful and eager to please. This was the most delightful trip, and this home was just perfect. Close to the beach, pool and all the cute shops and restaurants. Not to mention, the added bikes were a bonus that we really appreciated!...as they saved us money in bike rentals. Definitely consider this home for your next trip to the beach!

We stayed at the Sunshine Shack with our extended family (10 of us in all - 6 adults, 4 kids) for a week, and it was a great fit! The downstairs bedroom worked wonderfully for my older parents while the rest of us were on the second floor. The bunk room was perfect for our four kids (ages 9 - 12). Great beachy decor with a wonderfully stocked kitchen and amenities. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation!!!

The Sunshine Shack, by far, is the best rental home in Seacrest Beach. The location was so close to the beach, pool, restaurants and shops. We walked or rode our bike to everything! We stay in Seacrest at least twice a year and we haven't stayed in a home we've enjoyed more than this. Our family thoroughly enjoyed every inch of space in the Sunshine Shack. The Sunshine Shack is beautifully decorated. The floor plan is large and spacious. The beds are super comfy and the home is very clean. The outdoor shower was gorgeous and we used it every day after we returned from the beach. The home is fully stocked with everything you need! Bikes, beach towels, toys (both beach/pool toys and a full closet full of toys to keep the kids entertained in the house). We couldn't have asked for more. Don't look further. This is the house to book!! We will definitely be back!

We had such a great time visiting the Sunshine Shack! The house was beautiful and very well cared for. We loved the shuttle service that made getting to the beach so easy. The house was so comfortable and we hope to return next year!

We had a fabulous week at Sunshine Shack! The owner is extremely easy to deal with and very helpful. The house is beautiful, clean and very well-kept. The layout is great--plenty of space for our crew (grandparents, parents, aunts and kids). It is stocked with everything you need, including bikes and beach chairs! There is a beautiful new grill that we did not even get a chance to use, because we were eating out in the very many great restaurants that are located within walking distance from the house. The Seacrest tram to the beach was so convenient. I love the 30A area and would definintely recommend the Sunshine Shack!

The home is beautifully decorated without a bunch of personal "stuff" on every shelf, and very, very clean. There are matching glasses, dishes, silverware and plenty of it so you're not running the dishwasher twice a day. The house has everything one needs for a beach vacation, so come with nothing but your suit and lotion. The location is tranquil with stunning pine trees and palms surrounding the porches and windows. Everything is a close walk, and while Seaview and Watercolor were packed with people and traffic, Seacrest and Rosemary are far more peaceful and relaxing -- no traffic, no lines, no loud drunks. The beach is the nicest we've ever seen from the south of France to the Carribbean -- it's become our new favorite. There are lots of children to play with but plenty of room to settle near the water without being on top of one another. The homeowners had all the conveniences you wished rental houses would have -- toilet paper, soap, dish detergent, trash bags, etc. etc. Choose this house. You will not be disappointed!

This house is just fantastic!! Myself and several ladies stayed at the Sunshine Shack for a girls' trip, and it was just perfect. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, a nicely sized gathering space with large table, well stocked kitchen, adorably decorated, super clean, and ... my all-time favorite specifications: comfortable mattresses and showers with good water pressure. This seems like such a no-brainer, but I have stayed at several million dollar houses with lousy mattresses - sheesh!! Also, the location is ideal, as the house sits on a quiet street, but just a block from La Cocina, Seacrest Sundries and other shops. We have rented in Seacrest 25 times or so, and this house is definitely in my top 3. Thanks so much!!!
