I recently had the pleasure of staying at a property that was absolutely perfect for my family. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness, the tasteful decor, and the convenient location. I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience and highly recommend this property to other families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the property was exceptional. It was evident that the owners take great pride in maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment. Every room, from the bedrooms to the bathrooms and the common areas, was immaculate. This attention to detail made us feel instantly at ease and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. One of the standout features of this property was its proximity to public transportation. Being close to the train station allowed us to easily explore downtown attractions without the hassle of driving and parking. We took advantage of this convenience and spent wonderful days exploring the city's vibrant downtown scene. Additionally, we were thrilled to discover that the property was also within easy reach of the Brookfield Zoo, which was a huge hit with our kids. The accessibility to public transportation truly enhanced our overall experience and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, our experience at this property was outstanding. The cleanliness, tasteful decor, and convenient location made it a perfect choice for our family. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property to any families looking for a fantastic vacation rental that offers both comfort and convenience. The shower curtain seems to not be very sturdy but the host was able to come out and fix that concern fairly quickly and easily!

The location was relatively close to the city downtown.

We stayed in an apartment with upstairs neighbors. When they walked above our room, there was like a loud rumbling noise that was really hard to ignore. Really dirty place. When I showed pictures of the filthiness to the owner of the place, we were told that some of them are "just design and finish issues" and that "as with every living space, it is possible for minor wear and tear and some dust accumulation to occur between the cleaning and your check-in". Is the hinge from the bathroom door almost coming off a design and finish issue? We asked for a refund of the cleaning fee ($180!!!) because the way we received the apartment was unacceptable to our standards. They refused saying that that the fee we paid was for cleaning the apartment after we leave - true - we were expecting some kind of compensation at least. They suggested that we can always leave (it was 10:20 PM) and get a prorated refund for the rest of our stay. I wish I could add some pictures here for you to be the judge of the lack of cleanliness we received.
