The staff is the best thing the hotel has. Good location if you want to stay in the center of the city but old quarter is very chaotic, if you like quite this wouldn't be the place for you. The room was clean, big and comfortable.

More options for international travels, the breakfast is mainly vietnamese.

The staff were very attentive. The pool was clean and a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. The restaurant food was amazing (expensive wine though!)

AMAZING location with convenient access to nearby tourist attractions, food and shopping on foot, all within ~5-30mins. Unparalleled staff hospitality and service. Main staff also spoke fluent English and Vietnamese.

The hotel was quite loud. You could hear everything in the hallways, the floor below and even the hairdryer of the bathroom in the room next door.

The service was impeccable! The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, including preparing an early takeaway breakfast when we had an early transport. The space was lovely and they upgraded us at no additional cost, and left us with a nice gift when we left the next morning.

The space was smaller than expected, but everything else was absolutely lovely. The swimming pool is more located inside, and does not have lounging space and is surrounded by concrete walls.

This has got to be the best luxury boutique hotel in Hanoi. Highly recommended. Rooms are incredibly new and clean. All the staff are friendly and helpful. And special thanks to the manager, Quan for recommending going to the train cafe, that’s one of the biggest highlights of Hanoi.

Great location in the old town, excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed but above all the staff were extraordinary. So helpful, above and beyond. A medical situation dealt with without fuss, immediate and a kind follow up. Great recommendation for a restaurant nearby - was a treat

Frokosten var veldig bra. Kundeservice på dette hotellet var sykt bra! Fra resepsjon til frokost på morgenen de ansatte var veldig behjelpelig og pratsom. Dette var vår favoritt hotell etter å ha bodd på 5 forskjellige hoteller i Vietnam denne ferien! Bassenget er varmet og veldig avslappende!

We loved everything about our stay at La Siesta. We stayed at this one and La Siests Ma May. Both are absolutely fantastic! The service is so warm and friendly, they have a way of making everyone feel special! Highly recommend!

El hotel es maravilloso. Desde la ubicación, el trato del personal, el desayuno y las habitaciones. Las camas son las más cómodas que alguna vez probamos en un hotel. Cómo era nuestra luna de miel nos hicieron un upgrade sin costó, muchas gracias! Sin duda volveríamos a hospedarnos allí.

The service in this hotel is amazing from the moment you arrive. From the doormen to the reception and the restaurant staff, they were extremely welcoming and helpful. The location is right in the middle of the action and within easy reach of all of the tourist attractions.

Beautiful sanctuary from the hustle & bustle

Everything about this hotel and the staff was excellent. They are so friendly and helpful. We visited one of the sister hotels for a massage & twice for a meal so as we could have the Banh Xeo which was excellent. On a hot afternoon, the pool was fantastic to cool off in whilst enjoying a drink, I by being in a protected area you did not have the heat of the sun.

We unfortunately only had the opportunity to stay for 2 nights. When we next visit Hanoi we will definitely stay at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung for longer.

The service was great, the room was huge, i would struggle to find things to like about this hotel apart from that. Amazing service by Quynh who helped us out with her recommendations of the area, plus great service from the concierge and ground floor staff. If not for the amazing service by the staff, i would avoid this overpriced hotel and stay at the La Siesta premiums within walking distance of each other.

Room was filthy, dirt everywhere, cleaning is terrible and lots of hair left behind by cleaning staff. I wouldn't have spent money on a suite if i was just getting a terrible view of dirty roof tops, could have topped up a little more for executive or cheapen out on a room without a view. Left the curtains closed the whole time since the view was awfully uninspiring. Woken up every morning and night by the incredibly thin walls, ceiling plus the thin doors that offer 0 sound proofing. So much furniture dragging noises coming from above, tonnes of knocking and banging from the neighbouring rooms or neighbouring building, cant tell. House keeping was so damn noisy in the morning, can hear the constant slamming and banging of doors, sounds of plates and cutlery clanging at 6 in the morning??? Insanely loud of voices of cleaning staff shouting to one another at 6-7am?????? Its like listening to a morning food market peak hour right outside your room. If you are a late sleeper i would strongly avoid this hotel, it was so annoying and affected our schedules - we are late sleepers and late risers and i would hate to recommend this place to anyone with such sleeping patterns. Also if neighbouring guests arrive late you could hear them talking in the corridor and slamming doors at 12am-1am. Also annoying is the single side wall plug for a king sized bed.. This is an incredibly dated design? Would be nice if both sides of the beds had their own individual wall plug for charging handphones? All in all 10/10 service from this hotel once again, but the noise is just a deal breaker. Im surprised this hotel is rated higher than la siesta premium cos i would truly skip this place.

This hotel was extremely clean and was located in an extremely prime location within a walkable distance from many sightseeing spots and situated right in the Old Quarter. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of food and the gym was small but definitely decent. The staff members were very friendly too!

My only complaint about the service/staff occurred before my stay even began. There was some confusion/mistake between Booking.com and this hotel, so I was unable to get the free airport ride service from the airport from Booking.com. When I had called the hotel to ask if they were able to accommodate a service since it was technically their fault for accepting my ride request in the first place, they were adamant about me booking my own service, and while I hope this was an accident on the staff member's end, he hung up on me while picking up another phone call and never called me back, which definitely left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. The airport ride was around $16 USD so definitely didn't break the bank, but it would've been exceptional had the hotel just arranged the ride given it was their mistake for causing the confusion in the first place.
