The place is a bunch of townhouses. I was looking for something a bit more historical. Glad I only booked for one night. Not to mention the door wouldn’t even close on the place we stayed. The handyman came and adjusted the hasp so the door would latch but the deadbolt wouldn’t work after that. The place was very clean but just not for me. I’m sure some would like the place, for me it’s an overpriced hotel room.

The historic Powhatan was great. We had an upstairs unit and it was large and clean with an updated kitchen. Very easy to drive to all the historic sites in the area.

The suite was nice. I had to manhandle The sliding glass door to the porch and there were bumble bees on the porch that did not make it a good place to sit. The most concerning aspect of this stay was an attempt at registration to get us to listen to a time share. The grounds are beautiful

Best place to stay. Clean, lots of space, comfy beds, loved the kitchen. Parking limited tho. My family an I will be back

My stay was nice. This was my family's 3rd stay at the resort. Mini golf, fishing and the playground were all that was available due to the season and the pandemic. The unit was very nice. The only issue I had was with the concierge that was overly pushy in trying to get me to go the talk about signing up for a timeshare. Other than that, we had no Issues.
