The apartment is spacious, the two bedrooms have good separation and there’s a good-sized balcony.

Before booking, it should be made clear that a) this is not a hotel, it’s a private residence b) you have to drive down the road to the 7-Eleven petrol station at Robina to collect the key/fob from a lock box for the apartment before you can gain access c) the check out instructions ask guests to return the key/fob to the 7-Eleven BEFORE check out time, although in the same spiel they say you can leave the key/fob on the table (this is flawed, because you need the fob to gain access to the car park to drive your car out). The people I liaised with before check in (Roger, Emma, Allison) were unhelpful when I asked if we could check in early just to get changed for a wedding we were going to. They were given a lot of notice but they said we had to ask 1 DAY ahead, then said ‘no’ due to ‘limited availability’. Limited availability of what I don’t know … helpfulness? Turns out we were able to collect the key early but this was not communicated to us (we happened to drive to the 7-Eleven early and it was there, ready, so we didn’t need the stress leading up to that point). With improvement on communications this would be a much more pleasant experience, because the apartment itself was nice.
