We travel by car; we feel very convenient in terms of location -- quick to DT, eateries, or groceries (for this reason we are unable to comment on whether it's convenient when using public transport). Facilities are complete - there is all that we need. Generally, it's clean, except that the wooden floor of the kitchen space is a little bit sticky (which really does not matter). In general, this place is good for the price. Two bedrooms are good enough for us three (and a dog). Also, the place's pet-friendliness is definitely a plus.

This space was probably converted from a basement (which is typical in a house in North America), though approximately half of the space (or more, including the two bedrooms) is pretty much above the ground, and all rooms (including the part that is largely underground) have windows. (As a typical basement, there is a door leading to the laundry (which we didn't use), which in turn leads to a stairway and the space of the host upstairs.) All good except the headroom of the space. The clearance between the floor and the ceiling is about 2m (or perhaps a bit less), which is less than ideal but fine. What's really a problem is that there is a big overhead beam across the living space leaving a net clearance of only about 1750mm. Being taller than this, I bumped my head several times. As a result, I have to remember to walk with my head low and back bent when inside.
