The owner was very nice.

Booking .com overbooked the rooms. When we arrived, a guest gave us the owners number and owner informed us of the over booking and apologized. Beautiful place but we had no where to stay at 7pm. Very unfortunate. The place was gorgeous!

Very clean with comfortable bed

Bathroom in room was odd. toilet 3 feet from bed Tub 1 foot behind bed, I prefer shower which I had to wait for as it was in one of the common bathrooms in the hall

Beautiful historical landmark very well maintain. Great amenities, super staff, complementary breakfast at the Henderson Castle. Great neighborhood 1 block from downtown Kalamazoo entertainment district.

Nothing really , every thing was great and lovely we had also access to the Henderson castle amenities hot tub on the roof , swim spa and bar and restaurant... pretty cool.

The location was good and we could walk downtown. It seems like it will one day be a decent bed and breakfast but that day is not today.

The amenities were not as advertised. It is in the middle of renovations and it very much felt like a bait and switch. There was one shared bathroom among guests that was finished and the other only had a working toilet. There were paint chips in our bed and the lamps weren't even plugged in. On the bright side, the fan worked.
