This host was absolutely awful to interact with and the way he communicated made me feel like it would be unsafe to stay at his home. I booked this stay on the same day I wanted to stay there and the website let me select a 7-8 pm check in. Apparently this is later than the host's preferred check in. Instead of setting up a lock box or some other typical solution, the host will only allow you to arrive between 4-6 pm. When he saw I had requested a 7-8 pm check in he sent a passive aggressive message that ended with, "if you don't arrive by 8 pm, it will be considered a no-show and you will not be refunded." I could not guarantee that as we were currently on a flight that landed at 6:30 pm, so I tried to cancel. The host would not allow me. I then tried to talk to booking.com and they told me to talk to the host since this was a non-refundable stay. Please be warned that there are no protections for consumers in place. I had to pay for my entire stay even though I never went there. I believe there is a reason this host is using this website instead of another one that has more protection for consumers. I recommend staying anywhere else and avoiding sketchy hosts who clearly only care about money.

Close shops and eateries

Apartment bldg location was very convenient to Emory University Hospital, less than 10 mins. There is plenty of secure covered parking. Very nice decor & very comfortable. Home away from home. Lots of restaurants & shopping nearby. The owner was very responsive.

It took a few days to figure out the hallways & layout to get the right bank of elevators. If you have difficulty walking, it is a bit of a hike from the parking garage to the apartment location.
