Thank you to our host for sharing your lovely Forest Glen Haven with my daughter and me. The neighborhood was beautiful, and the view of a Swiss Chalet and Pagaoda was a pleasant surprise. We hope to return someday to explore this area more. I am a horse lover, so I enjoyed the equestrian memorabilia. We had everything we needed and a short drive to visit family.

Our stay was perfect at the house. It was easy to travel into DC and back even multiple times a day, access was excellent. The home itself was spacious, clean, in a cute and quiet neighborhood, and communication was prompt and easy. I look forward to staying again on our next trip.

What a gem! My family of 4 had an amazing stay at Forest Glen Haven. Having grown up in Silver Spring, I am familiar with the area and was excited to get to stay across from the old seminary. The neighborhood is awesome-- we enjoyed taking the self-guided walking tour of the former seminary grounds, got to learn about the history of the area, and loved how close Rock Creek Park was-- just a short walk along the Ireland Trail takes you right to Rock Creek Trail. Sniders Superstore is within walking distance (1 mile) right down the road (almost all on a sidewalk) and the Forest Glen Metro Station is only 1 mi/ a 20 minute walk in the opposite direction.
The house itself is a beautiful old brick house, built in the style of so many Silver Spring and DC houses. The house is old, but really doesn't show its age, with a modern updated kitchen and two full baths. The beds were amazingly comfortable, the den well-suited to family movie night, the dining room able to seat 8, and the living room perfect for entertaining our local family members. Parking was also fantastic as the driveway can comfortably fit 3 cars, 4 if you plan ahead, and that is a super-find for this neighborhood with narrow streets and limited street parking. We did have 1 house issue that the host responded to immediately and handled so well.
All in all we loved our stay and would 100% recommend it for anyone in the area! The host, Miranda, was extremely responsive and welcoming. We were so sad to leave but will
