Owners not upfront with band 3 feet from bedroom with noise and vibration from 9pm-2am. They took our money on false pretext. They are dishonest and deceitful. They then pretended it was in the fine print. They think it’s funny taking out if towners money because they won’t be back. Their poor reputation will precede them.

They did a great job updating the rooms with comfortable beds! As long as you don’t mind the bar noise late it’s a perfect location and fun to stay at an old, historical hotel!

Great stay. Walking distance to everything. Old school atmosphere. Live music at night. You will hear it at night (rooms above bar). It didn’t bother me. I love live bands.

The only thing that really saves this inn is its proximity to the river, food, and activities in town. It really is a beautiful little town and I don’t want to overlook that! The people are kind and the food is great, it’s definitely worth the visit, just without staying at this location. Very honestly, This was probably the worst hotel we have stayed at in a while. The room was small and the temperature was difficult to manage, the door and keys were questionable at best, the bed was uncomfortable, and the shared bathrooms were disgusting. It was like staying at a low budget hostel at 4x the price. Let’s start with the bathrooms: They were littered with beer bottles and empty drink cups, all kinds of bodily fluids all over the seat and toilets. Even when the door was locked, which should be an indicator that someone is already in there, other guests or bar patrons were still able to open the doors and freely walk in. Not at all enjoyable. Then there was the live music… This music was supposed to end around 1 in the morning, reasonable for a weekend, but the screeching microphones, off key singing, yelling, and absolute chaos continued up past 3am. They did offer a jar of ear plugs, but they looked beyond decrepit. When we woke up to check out, the main area where we checked in was locked and there was no key drop. We received no instructions on what to do with the keys, so our taxi driver ended up dropping them off with the AM bartender.
