They "need" our review. We needed shelter during a catastrophic storm with all roads home blocked. After spending 2 days in the home without electricity (no working flashlights, no candles, no written instructions about anything, no emergency equipment, an inoperable outside propane grill) we were kicked out and told to call Vacasa's 800# to try to find alternate lodging which meant sitting in the car to use our phones wasting fuel, on hold. There's no way we were booking thru Vacasa. I understand that the power outages and road closures were beyond human control. This is example of humanity during crisis, bringing out the best, or the worst in people. As we made our 3day trek home (normally a 2hour drive) we were treated with kind consideration in the affordable lodging we were able to obtain. Please remove Vacasa properties from my searches.

See above. Upon arrival we had to spend 40 minutes on the phone to gain access to the house. There is obvious water damage and mold. Only access to the main living area is a long stairway which is difficult for elders. Especially when you're given an hour to get out. The only good thing I can say is that the view is spectacular

Location. Beautiful views from deck, easy walking distance to Yachats restaurants and stores. House was very clean and well stocked with everything you might need. Note that the only TV is in the master bedroom (wasn’t an issue for us, but might be for others).

Lock was finicky, lamp bulbs could be brighter for reading, master bedroom door is not hung straight so moved and made noise from the breeze when the window was open. Pretty minor issues though!
