We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Lil House! It was cozy, comfy, and perfect for a birthday getaway! The owners stopped by to provide us with some toiletries and to pick up a mattress that had been left. They were incredibly welcoming an kind. We already said that we will be back!
The water had a bit of a smell to it, wondering if it is sulfer. I know some areas of NC have this issue, so I didn't think much of it. Just in case it hasn't been mentioned!

This place is absolutely perfect for a peaceful quiet getaway. It is fully stocked with everything but shampoo/bath soap, but we always bring our own so it was not a problem at all. On site laundry, grill with accesories, fire pit and even outdoor games to keep you occupied if the creek or view isn't enough. This lil place is a hidden gem on the way to the smoky mountains or just a quick escape from hotels! Would highly recommend. Comfy bed and couch to relax with a cute little fireplace. Very homey feeling with nice decor.
