This house overall is great! Avant was so great and helpful. The floor plan of the house is unique. There are a lot of stairs and the bathrooms are on separate floors from the living/kitchen area. This home is not ideal for older individuals, people with mobility issues or small kids. For adults this house is great. Short walk to the beach and short drive to town. The downstairs tenant is friendly and ideal for a shared rental, I would rent here again!

Long-time friends stayed here for a quiet retreat. We loved the peace, spacious house, and beautiful views over morning coffee. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies. It was a short drive to Coupeville as well. Hosts were great with info and it was easy to check in. Thanks!

Loved the location and the views, hated the beds on the upper level.
The house was very clean, spacious, maximizes the view, is on a very quiet street, and has a lot of parking.
This is our third stay in a house in Admiral's Cove. This property has the best location, 1 block to the clubhouse with heated pool (summer only), 1 block to beach and basketball courts.
House is split level with half a flight of stairs between each half-floor. And has 3 large decks plus yard access.
Top floor is kitchen-living room. We loved this space. Recently remodeled kitchen, lots of space, great views, huge deck.
The two upper bedrooms are furnished with semi-antique queen beds that are uncomfortable. They are nearly 3ft high (between kitchen table height and kitchen counter height), and it is a scramble to get into them. They are very squishy and wiggly (like a waterbed), and creaky. Our friends used the king on the lower floor and the queens in the converted garage and did not say anything about the beds.
Roof deck with hot tub. The hot tub pumping runs occasionally day and night. It makes loud vibrations into the two bedrooms and even the kitchen.
If the two bedrooms were refurnished and the hot tub were off at night, we would stay again. The house is very spacious and the location is great.

The rental was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked which made it easy to fix meals for our large group. The grounds were well maintained and tidy. It is across the street from the beach and one block from the pool. The pool was very clean and family friendly with floaties and toys for kids to play with. The house is in a quiet neighborhood but an easy 10 minute drive to town with restaurants, stores, and a well stocked market. Tara Property Management was easy to connect with and very helpful before we arrived and though out our stay.

Lovely, clean, well furnished house and well equipped kitchen. Spectacular view of water and snow capped mountains. Multiple levels of decks with great hot tub on upper level. Plenty of places to explore and walking trails nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything was good except the stove burners were hard to use. It would be hot and then turn down a touch and it goes to cold. The little candles did work and I didn’t like the 730 am text each morning.

What a beautiful home, so close to the beach. We had such a relaxing time here, and the kitchen was fully stocked for our families. There was even a waffle maker, which was a nice surprise. The house was cold when we showed up, which is not ideal in the winter, so it did take a while to heat up the downstairs converted room, but once it was going we were comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a nice little getaway!

Very spacious house, with views out of each room. Perfect for our group. Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities; Very appreciated, and the comms with the management firm were easy, fast. My only critiques are the master bed was very uncomfortable (maybe just us?) and the hot tub wasn't very clean.

The house was nice and clean. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The view was beautiful in all directions from all 3 decks. The beach was right across the street. The sunsets where fantastic. Would definitely stay here agian.

This was a family reunion with my nephew who lives 4 houses away. The house was perfect.I do think the owners need to clean out the cabinets of bags and organize the games. I threw out probably 30 plastic bags from various cupbpoads.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Beach Look Out Retreat during our time on Whidbey Island. We travelled across the country for a family wedding so we had several family members staying with us on the property. It was the perfect amount of space and accessibility. We even hosted a small get together with the bride and groom the day after the wedding and all congregated on the rooftop, it was perfect. This island is a special place and we were very glad that we got to experience it. Staying at this property only enhanced our time here and Tara Property Management South was responsive and attentive to all of our needs leading up to, and during, our stay. Would Highly Recommend!

Love the area this house is located in. Great ocean view from balconies and quiet street. Communication with rental management team was outstanding! Short drive to town and plenty of things to do on the island.
Only thing I would recommend - bath towels and bedding could use an upgrade.

All the kids were doing was playing. Made me very upset and nervous about noise and it’s difficult to keep kids quiet. I called to ask if my niece nephew and their children could come over for 3 hours one day and the person on the phone was very impersonal.
He was cut and dry no discussion and down right rude and I did not appreciate it!
Overall otherwise beautiful place !

This house has all of the perfect ingredients for a group getaway! Multiple rooms on different floors, kitchen stocked with all cooking supplies you will ever need plus an outdoor grill, multiple decks with hot tub, fire pit on the lake side, beautiful view on the beach side, perfect location for visiting Whidbey. Our group of 5 busy moms had a great weekend!

House is in an amazing location with wonderful birding out back and ocean waves out front. Red-winged blackbirds trill through the day and diving swallows were a wonder. Hot tub on roof means loud vibrations through the night in middle room, found it unusable. Also, house is right in the flight path for periodic military training. Kitchen had almost everything, missing a coffee grinder and cheese grater. Property is shared by a long-term renter who we never saw or heard which was excellent. Downstairs garage room was very useful but no bathroom. Overall great stay with earplugs.

Wonderful location. Loved the views out the back to the lake and out the front to the ocean. The house was clean, comfortable, and adequately stocked. We brought our own kayak, and enjoyed kayaking on the small lake with our toddler. Great beach access, lots of fun building sandcastles, flying kites, and climbing on driftwood. We anticipated the noise from the navy jets, but it was even a bit louder than we expected. One night they flew late enough to delay a toddler bed time, but not too bad. They are loud enough that you would not want to be outside in the hot tub while they’re flying.

We had two generations of family traveling to Whidbey to celebrate my dad's 95th birthday ( he lives on the island). The house accommodated us well and allowed us to relax together, cook meals, and explore. Well appointed house and would be fun in warmer weather. Loved the easy beach access. Great kitchen and plenty of beds. Must be able to do stairs! Limited cable TV and no apps. Wifi works but is a little slow. Definitely recommend.

Unique home has the perfect set-up for our 3 families - 3 couples + 2 kids. Kitchen was well equipped for meals in & open plan with living room was great for gathering together. Each family had a bit of private space.
Ideally located in the middle of Whidbey - close to the cute downtown areas of Coupeville, Oak Harbor and Langley and local hiking trails and parks. Loved the view and beach just across the street.

We had a lovely trip to the island and got to stay in this cozy little beach house. My only complaint were the beds were super hard other than that this house was a dream and we loved it’s charming Devore and location.

We booked this house for a girls weekend to get together and breakup our time with everyone working from home.
Unfortunately we found a leak that caused a hiccup and didn’t let us use some of the space but the property managers were quick to respond and help accommodate us rearrange our sleeping arrangements.
The kitchen/living room floor was a great open space to be in as a group! The bed in the master was great too.
