We had a great time and will absolutely stay there again. The only downside is a slight odor to the water but it’s easily solvable with some bottled water. I drank the water for several days too with no issues.

My family and I were looking for a VRBO property to stay in during Langley's Murder Mystery Weekend, and Rhythm Waters was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet house in the woods just a few minutes drive from downtown Langley, we were able to take our time driving in for the festivities, then easily get back to look over clues and relax. Didn't have to eat out with a full kitchen available, and the one master bed and two beds in the loft gave the whole family a place to sleep. And while some of us were watching a movie on the large screen tv, others were enjoying a soak in the hot tub. If you're looking for a secluded place less than 10 minutes drive to Langley, you should really consider Rhythm Waters.

Beautiful place. I can only imagine how pretty it is in the spring and summer. Whidbey Island is a wonderful place to visit and the people are so amiable. We look forward to coming back.

It was hard to find the turn of the main road as well as the parking area at the top of the driveway. It was so dark we almost parked directly in the middle of what looked like a road.. But we loved how exclusive and in the middle of nowhere/woods it felt, while being so close to town and the ferry! Once inside the cabin, we only used the lower level. We brought food to cook all weekend thinking we weren't going to leave. The kitchen was very nice, except alot of the utensils and dishes were dirty. Things were / very used there wasn't a lot of options to cook with as far as pots and pans. For having a full kitchen I would have expected the basics to at least be there... we made it work . BRING YOUR OWN DRINKING WATER!!!! I have grown up with well water and I have not been anywhere beside the farm back in Iowa with well water that smells and tastes so strong. I'm not as sensitive to it, but someone from the city or someone whose never experienced this before might think this is a big deal. It was pretty pungent for the entire time we were there. We ended up going to the srore and bought a gallon of drinking water. Over all the place was not very clean. The sheets on the bed had yellow stains, the robes were used (we found stains and a lighter in the pocket of one of them) the shower floods the floor no matter the angle the shower head was pointing. Even facing the back wall didnt help it just wrnt under the glass door. We were glad to find there were alot of extra towels and a washer and dryer so we could lay as many towels as we needed to on the ground to soak up the water. The only other thing is that we felt some of the "house rules" were a little strict for the fact that our stay didn't meet all of our expectations for the amount of money we spent for 3 nights and we only ended up staying 2 nights.

This property is incredible - the house is lovely and comfortable and well-equipped, the gardens are impeccable, and everything was exactly as described. We had a wonderful time and would certainly stay again. Only downsides were minor: the beds aren’t particularly comfortable and we felt the communication with the property manager about expectations during a power outage could have been better. Neither would keep us from recommending this special place to our friends and family - it’s a gem.

Grounds and home were beautiful. Great hot tub. We missed the garden in full bloom by just a couple of weeks but it was still an amazing property. Our dog had an unfortunate accident on the spiral staircase and cut her leg pretty badly. I actually had to leave the island to find a vet willing to see her and get her stitched up. Not blaming the property owner in any way, just want to warn others to be extremely careful on these stairs with their pets and children. I don’t want anyone to have to go through that experience again. Overall it was an amazing place and would totally recommend it for some peace and quiet.

As mentioned in other reviews, the beds are fairly uncomfortable and by the end of the week our backs started to ache. The staff at Tara Vacation Rentals were very friendly and helpful with quick responses when needed. The hot tub's filter seemed to be having difficulty resulting in the water being pretty dirty. They were quick to send people out to work on this, but the water's cleanliness never quite recovered and the water was dirty all week. We still had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. The Art Box rental being right next door was no problem at all - aside from walking past to get to the entrance you'd never know they were there. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the jacuzzi on a cool evening. The property is appealing, the ponds and landscaping well maintained. We found the appliances we needed - toaster, coffee maker, Rabbit cork puller - functional and clean.

We just wanted to enjoy nature, have some quiet fun, and just get away from the blah everyone is facing in current times. This spot was a dream! It was serene, beautiful, and had all the amenities we could have wanted to create the perfect getaway. The size was also great for three people (room for more if sharing beds). We had a few hiccups, and cell service is pretty abysmal, but in the end that worked out for us. All three of us said we might even consider making it a yearly experience!
