Elegant simplicity in decoration because with windows everywhere the owner knows the view steals the show!! Ultra clean and timeless-there is only everything to like! Fantastic house on a beautiful beach. The house was clean, and extremely well appointed! Everything from linens to laundry detergent was there for your convenience. We had a lovely stay. Very secluded location away from the crowds. An hour away from most attractions.

We stayed at this property for 5 weeks and found we loved the views of the ocean in all weather, walking on the beach with our dogs, and meeting the extra nice locals. The house was clean and comfortable and dog friendly. The property managers and owner were super responsive at all times. Easy to get lobster and clams nearby. I really could go on and on. There are no restaurants per se or large grocery within half an hour. There are lots of stairs, so not for everyone. Recommend Campobello (need passports), Lubec, Monica's Chocolates, Helen's Restaurant, Coffee & Crisp, The French Cellar for wine and great cheeses, and a tour at the Downeast Institute.

From the magnificent location, to the cleanliness and abundant amenities of the inviting cottage, this is a true treasure shared by a responsive and incredibly gracious host. It's exactly us described. I think many other people have said that the pictures don't do it justice. They don't! The house is immaculate, the colors the house is decorated with are just so soothing and beautiful, the house is comfortable, the view is magnificent... I could go on and on. For people who really appreciate the lifestyle that comes with living with the ocean you will just love seeing all the boats going in and out. They start at 5:00 a.m. all their lights on heading out to sea, then there's activity throughout the day. A walk down the beach is possible even at high tide, and it's right outside your door. Beautiful sunrises, beautiful sunsets. Dog friendly - the front deck is secured for dogs so you can have them them out there with no worries. Did I mention I loved staying there? Highly recommended.

This was perfect for our quiet Thanksgiving holiday. We were able to tour Eastport, Lubec, and other beautiful areas on the Bold Coast from this convenient location in Jonesport. They are currently doing construction on the bridge that leads to the property. A longer detour is required and is noted that part of the trip is a dirt road. The dirt road is very well maintained and was no issues, but some may want to be aware prior to a visit.
The views were amazing. The house very inviting. Our family was comfortable and the house was prepared for small dogs, we greatly appreciated this. We definitely don’t want any dog accidents and this place is perfect for pets. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pans, everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay and won’t hesitate to return. What a beautiful gem. Thank you for sharing your Maine coastal getaway with us!

We just spent 3 nights at this beautiful beach house and had an amazing time. The house has everything you need and is extremely cozy. The deck overlooks the ocean and the sunrises and sets are truly spectacular. Three days was not nearly enough. We’ll be back for sure. Perfect vacation.

What an amazing property in a wonderful location! Without all the hustle of the tourists, we were able to experience parts of Maine without dealing with the rush but still had this beautiful peaceful spot to slumber to, and enjoy some amazing sunrises!

Everything about this property was exceptional and as advertised. Extremely clean with everything we needed.
Such a relaxing place…watched the lobster/fishing boats come and go daily. Enjoyed both sunrise and sunset views.
We were able to hike Great Wass Island one day and headed east to Machias another day.
We would highly recommend this rental!

This cottage is great, beautiful inside and out. The views are amazing. It's very obvious the owner is a dog lover, that made it even better. We had everything we needed right there, we really had a nice time.

This is a very special property. It sits right on a sandy beach--a rarity in Maine--with a panoramic view of Moosabec Reach, an endless show of lobster boats and birds. For dog lovers, it is a relaxing, dog-friendly retreat--easy to clean, safe for dogs, with a beach playground. Our pups were in heaven. We really enjoyed the people in Jonesport, including the next-door neighbor. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We had little desire to leave the house--we preferred to walk the beach and watch the show of water, sky, and birds outside the windows. (But we did venture out for fried clams at Riverside Takeout in Machias. Absolutely the best in Maine.) As for the house, the furniture is wonderfully comfortable, the kitchen is great, and the view is incomparable.

The beach house was exactly how it's portrayed in pics!! Beautiful 3 sided water views, well stocked kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms! Very clean and tidy. Peaceful beach walks and if you want to get into the thick of it Acadia is about an hour or so away. Great local hiking too on Beals Island. Had a really great vacation.

Absolutely beautiful private spot! Exactly as advertised and Exactly what we were looking for! Not touristy, no hustle and bustle...just pure relaxation on the ocean. The house was spotless! Had everything you would need! Definitely booking this property again! My fur baby Moose loved it as well!!

My husband, friend and senior pooch had a marvelous week. The house is clean, comfortable and extremely well appointed. We like to cook and had everything we needed, down to a microplane and meat thermometer.
The view is wonderful, as others have commented. We like to hike and this is a nice location for reaching Great Wass Island, West Quoddy Head and numeroustrails on the Bold Coast. (Dog loved Long Point Preserve in East Machias.) Be aware that the only option for entry is up a flight of stairs, about a dozen. A minor price for the view that you get at the top.

We had a wonderful, relaxing week at this lovely home! The views were stunning, the home was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We even cooked 6 2lb+ lobsters one night! There were books, games and puzzles available for rainy days and quiet evenings along with many other thoughtful details. Highly recommended for those looking to get away from it all for a while!

What a property! We are Mainers but love to explore our great state. We fell in love with Jonesport. The property couldn't have been in a better location. The 270 degree water views were just amazing. We had every intent to go sit on the beach, but didn't even need to leave the house or the deck after all. Didn't meet a local that I didn't like. So friendly and genuinely helpful. The lobstermen at the docks were more than happy to set us up with some fresh seafood. Even referred us to a place we could get some steamers from. They are truly appreciative of the business, so please pay them a visit over at Barney's as the industry is struggling. Help out your local fishermen!

This was such a beautiful serene location! We truly enjoyed walking our dogs along the beach, watching all of the boats come in and out all day and we even had a seal come play just off shore. A very nice town with such friendly helpful people. We even were able to go over to the docks and get fresh lobster and crab right off the dock! The most relaxing vacation spot around, worth the drive!

What a great location. The view is spectacular. We had a great two weeks in this very clean home with comfortable couches and beds. Ocean views from every room. Kitchen was fully stocked. The owner and property manager where very friendly and helpful answering all of our questions. We met the neighbors and their three dogs. Everyone we talked with was very pleasant. This house was just delightful. Full of light and views of the ocean. The kitchen was supplied with everything you could possibly need to cook just about anything you wanted to. The beds were very comfortable and the living areas so welcoming. Just outside was the beautiful ever changing ocean and islands. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

From the living room is literally a 270 degree panoramic view of the bay with its expansive rocky and beach shores and inlet islands. Do not miss the sunrise and sunset sceneries which are beyond description. During low tides the beach is endless and accessible right outside the door. Plenty of opportunities for long walks and beach combing. The local people are extremely friendly and always waved from the vehicle when out for runs. Certainly no lack of conversation. Not sure where to find something, ask a local and they will tell you were find it or even make a telephone call on your behalf. Plenty of local charm in the area with that distinctive Maine vibe. The house is absolutely beautiful with a combination of modern features and materials while maintaining its cottage feel. Furniture is very comfortable and allows for varying views of the scenery depending on where you sit. There isn't a bad seat in the house to pick from. Gas stove a plus for those who like to cook. A top ten place to stay going forward.

Communication from the owner is stellar! They were extremely helpful, informative and responsive with the questions I had about the property and location. The property itself is beautiful and exactly as the pictures show. We enjoyed morning and evening walks down the beach with our dog and enjoyed watching the lobster boats come and go. The sunset views were beautiful and the perfect end to the day. The patio furniture, beds and living room furniture were all so comfortable. All the bedrooms have a view of the ocean and the living room is the star of the show with its spectacular ocean views! Such a peaceful escape! We hope to come back in the future to this little gem!

This cottage was AMAZING! Upon walking into the house we were greeted with fresh flowers on the table and an almost 270 degree view overlooking the bay. We enjoyed watching the fisherman cruise by while we walked the sand beach. We could watch the ducks diving, an occasional fox scampering along the rocks, and the bald eagles soar...even without binoculars. For those who like the outdoors, there is a nice 4.5+ mile trail very close by. The house was immaculate, room sizes very comfortable, enough space and utensils in the kitchen to cook, and plenty of comfortable furniture to relax. The owner was great to work with and the property manager called to check in after we arrived and provided some great "local knowledge" to help find those hidden gems that (along with the people) make Maine such a great place.

What a perfect spot to relax! We impulsively decided to get away for a few days and decided on this beautiful home. So full of light, right on the beach, located close enough to points of interest & incredibly peaceful. The ground had a layer of fresh snow and the views were incredible from the moment we checked in.
