This is a really nice place to stay in an outstanding location. Really good food, imaginative and very well prepared. Excellent and interesting wine list. Very good breakfast. Friendly people. Bedroom fine.

Bedroom was cold but this was sorted by staff.

Honestly I was so impressed by this place. Well proportioned and beautifully styled rooms, lovely common spaces, and ridiculously comfortable beds. Did not expect to have a stay as half as good as this while driving down the West coast, nevermind for as reasonable a price as it was. Room had extra pillows/towels already stocked if they were needed, and a Nespresso machine and well stocked box of teas/coffees. Clifden itself was a highlight of our road trip and the hotel is very well positioned to explore the town.

The parking is just the general on-street parking for the town not a private car park - which means it's free evening hours and overnight which worked for us, but may not be as handy for longer duration stays.

Absolutely everything , the decor, the lay out, the selection of beautiful wines and really fantastic tasty tapas dishes. We tried plenty and every single one was delicious. We highly recommend the Lamplight in Clifden and we will come back in a flash! 10/10! Thanks guys!

That's the town had no water at all but that wasn't the Lamplights fault. Felt sorry for them. Other than that there was nothing to dislike. It's a fantastic place to unwind and relax
