Everything was amazing and exactly what we expected!

Calvin was extremely easy to work with and was an excellent host. The house was very clean and everything was as described. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Very relaxing for us

Calvin is the best host, the home was gorgeous and was fully stocked with anything we needed. The beds were so comfortable it was literally like your bed at home or better! Extra blankets and pillows and toys for my granddaughter.. I can’t wait to go back! 5 star stay!!! Home away from home for sure.

This was our second time staying at this property and we enjoyed it just as much as the first! There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby and you are only a short drive from the strip. The location is great as you can see the lights of the strip at night without all of the noise and traffic. I would recommend this property to any family!

The home was beautiful. Calvin the host was the best. Very accommodating and easy to work with. He was very responsive to all of our questions. Check in was a breeze. Ongoing construction behind the property was a minor distraction. All in all, we'd definitely return.

The property was absolutely gorgeous! Minutes away from anything you could possibly need and no more then a short 15min drive to the strip. Excellent communication from Calvin making the check-in/out process as easy as can be. This will ALWAYS be my first listing to look at when planning our next Vegas trip. 5 ⭐ all around!

This property was perfect for our stay in the area to hike. We like to cook and eat-in, and we enjoyed the wonderful kitchen and outdoor gathering areas. Beautiful views. Construction is starting behind the property, but mountain views should still be good.

Great place great time

The house was very nice. Plenty of room for everyone and privacy with 3 full bathrooms. The pool set up was awesome with a clean pool and fast warming hot tub attached. Easy access to Las Vegas strip and downtown as well as many area attractions. I will look to this property first for every visit to the area.

This is our second time staying at this property and we’ll definitely stay here again. The house is fantastic. Great layout that looks out at the pool from every room. Pool and hot tub were perfect and we took advantage of the covered outdoor grill. Communication with Calvin was very good. Overall and very fun and relaxing vacation.

Beautiful home in a great location. We were there for a golf weekend, and the home was conveniently located close to all of the golf courses we had chosen as well as restaurants and shopping. It is a very well laid out home with all of the amenities needed to relax after a day of golf. Had a great grilling area and a very nice hot tub. Will definitely consider this home again if we plan another golf trip to Las Vegas. Calvin was very responsive to every question that we had. He was very easy and nice to deal with.

This is my second stay at this residence, Calvin is the BEST HOST. Every time I fly to Vegas, I will be staying at this home. Peaceful, tranquil, feels like a home away from home and has every amenity that you can think of. Incredible location, amazing kitchen...Best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The house was amazing, well stocked, and even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub in this quiet neighborhood conveniently located to shopping and everything you need. Calvin was a great host, responsive and very easy to work with. We would stay here every time we come into town.

This was a beautiful house with gorgeous views of Vegas. Very clean and comfortable. We hope to stay here next year as well.

Let me get the 1 ding out of the way first: minor construction. Google Maps is unaware of detours on routes, and there's rare but loud construction traffic once in a while. It doesn't get in your way, it doesn't keep you up late, it's just annoying when your nav has to re-route and loud when a truck rolls by. That's the only ding, and I think it's minor. It's for sure not within the home owner's control, but it was the only rare irritation (besides our own teens) on the trip. This place is incredible. We visited my local brother to celebrate his wedding and our original VRBO cancelled on us due to LV's rule changes. This house was a quick scramble and slight cost increase to find arrangements after that cancellation and we got a great place. Look at the pictures. LOOK. It looks that good in person, honest. It REALLY impressed my parents and brother when they visited. We used it as a family gathering spot - it's great for hosting, and launch point to do day trips to Grand Canyon (We did South rim, long drive), Zion, and the downtown strip. The house location is pretty far south of the city, but that also means it's out of the crazy traffic, right-on-top-of-you neighbors, and constant lights and noise. There is shopping. grocery stores, restaurants, and nearby access to highways. There's also a hot tub for unwinding after the all-day car trips, and a pool. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. GREAT views. We had an unusual cool weather snap while visiting, so nobody polar-bear'd the pool experience, but we found the hot tub a few times for a soak before a shower and bed. On the other hand, we rarely broke a sweat this week, so we'll call the weather situation a good trade off. Skies were blue and clear and we even saw a Space-X launch in the skies over the western hills one night. We were in town during Halloween week and spent that night walking the strip to see all the people dressed up, which was great - so we don't know how busy local traffic was in the neighborhood. My wife, after seeing the place I picked out for our stay, has now delegated all vacation planning chores to me. My kids were genuinely impressed (impressing a 17 and 19yo is not easy). We would stay here again in a second, but sadly, as I type this at the kitchen island and facing having to return a rental car and spend a day in airplanes... it's time to hit the road.

We cannot say enough about our experience at the Black Mountain property. Our host, Calvin, was responsive and engaging, and the home was immaculate. We were a group of 5 moms escaping, from our homes located all over the US, to meet up, rejuvenate and reconnect. We didn't have any big plans other than to rest, take advantage of the pool and hot tub, and visit. This property was just was we were hoping for. The floorplan was perfect for gathering each day for meals and chatting. The outdoor space was heaven - the grill was a hit - and, of course, being able to hop in the pool to cool off from the 90+ degree heat during the day was divine. Sitting in the hot tub at night gave us opportunity to take in the beautiful night sky, the lights from the city, and to enjoy not having a single obligation or plan. There is some construction going on behind the home, but it was not at all a distraction for us. The neighborhood was great for walking each morning and we were able to get in roughly 3 miles each day. And, the location to amenities was convenient. We didn't make it to the Strip on our trip, so we'll be looking for a reason to come back. Thank you Calvin for providing the perfect respite for these busy and over-tired mama's. We have already begun to plan our return to Henderson! Your home will be at the top of our list!

Calvin is a great host and easy to communicate with. His vacation home is just awesome for families to relax. Grocery shopping and interstate reachable within 10 minutes. There are kitchen appliances, which I‘ve never seen before, lots of condiments… there‘s also a gas grill outside. This house has everything. But it‘s best feature is the pool deck. Just awesome. And Calvin takes care! We‘ve been in this home before and noticed quite some changes and upgrades. Can only recommend.

In town for a triathlon. Not much for hustle and bustle of Vegas. This place was perfect little getaway with many comforts of home.

Old friends catching up and relaxing for a few days, and we most definitely picked the perfect house to stay at. Beautiful inside and out, immaculately kept, and stocked with many things we didn't expect which saved us a lot of money. View of the Las Vegas skyline was gorgeous at night and the outside pool, hot tub and outdoor kitchen were just awesome! We couldn't have asked for anything more and the host Calvin was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

My party of 6 had an absolutely amazing time at this place. The photos don’t do it justice! As someone who loves cooking I appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our Saturday cookout/pool day. We truly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely book again!

Don’t pass up this gem of a house. Stayed here with my family for two weeks. The house was beautiful, clean and well-equipped. The area is so quiet and relaxing. The view of the strip at night is magnificent. The pictures do not do it justice. Indoor and outdoor areas are very spacious. We have stayed in many rentals before this, but this one exceeded our expectations. They provide you with basic household essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and laundry detergent, which most rentals don’t. There were lots of movies, books and games to play. We were lucky enough to meet Calvin during our stay. He was so helpful and attentive. We did not have any issues with the construction behind the property. We spent every day outside relaxing in the pool and it was not disruptive at all. Great location centrally located near everything. I highly recommend this property!! Thanks for an amazing vacation home. Can’t wait to return!!

House clean, quite, well appointed, and in a quiet neighborhood. Construction is on-going behind property to former golf course, however did not detract from the view or outside enjoyment of the pool and patio. Check-in was a breeze and Calvin was very responsive to any requests. House is centrally located between Vegas Strip, Hoover Dam, and only 2 hour drive to Grand Canyon West. Plenty of grocery stores and food options just minutes away from house. Great location, would definitely stay here again and recommend this property.
