The hotel and grounds are exceptional, with a lovely pool set in a secluded area. The food for breakfast is nice, and eating in the restaurant for lunch or dinner is a gastronomic experience. The room was serviced to a very high standard each day. The staff were very helpful on giving local knowledge or organising transport.
The location is good for accessing tourist sites, but the hotel itself is in a quiet area.
There is a supermarket (Conad) 5 minutes walk away, along with other shops and cafes, so there are plenty of options for eating or restocking supplies.
Access to the train at Sant'Agnello or Piano is a 10-15 minute walk, and to the coastline about 25 minutes.
One aspect to watch for - the hotel restaurant is popular for external events so pre-checking/booking is essential to avoid being caught out.
The wi-fi is ok outside or in the restaurant, but does not get into the room. The same applies to phone signals for mobile data. Can be frustrating when you are researching trips or making bookings, or just looking to stream or email.

Pool was nice, breakfast was good and the lady on the front desk went out of her way to help us book taxis and get items we’d forgot.

it was well priced . pool and gardens are nice. family who run it are nice but don’t speak too much English.
air conditioning did not work so was oppressively hot in the room. the villa hosts parties most nights but we weren’t given advance warning. lots of mosquitos, especially around the pool. didn’t provide the 4 of us with beach towels. family room is very small.

it was in a small town and difficult to get through as the streets were small and it was quite far from Sorrento. The toilet was a bit difficult to deal with after flushing but was fixable by removing the plastic thing and pulling the button

beautiful grounds which looked like something out of a fairytale! the pool was nice, quiet, we went in September and there were no staff attending the pool area, we went to the restaurant to order drinks and the lovely staff brought them out. rooms are big and spacious with a nice shared balcony area. some nice shops and local restaurants a short walk away! staff are so lovely and so helpful! would definitely visit again
the shower did not sit properly in the holder and kept falling off, a lot of times I ended up holding it to shower myself, when it would fall off I often ended up soaking the room, a couple of times we had to ask for our hot water to be switched on which was quite annoying. you can only go to the restaurant on site if you book first, we got dressed up to go down for dinner and it wasn’t open as no bookings

Everything was great and lovely. Villa don Camillo is a quaint charming place, beautiful, calm and relaxing. The room was spacious and pretty and incredibly clean. The staff was nice and the breakfast room was welcoming and fresh.
The street to get to the relais is a bit tight. The room could have used a full size mirror. I was going to a party and really missed one.

Villa Don Camillo is beautifully set in well maintained gardens, a lovely swimming pool and wonderful views of the surrounding area. it’s a real gem of family run hotel.
The food in the restaurant is tasty, well presented and amazing. We had a birthday celebration dinner and it couldn’t have been better.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room in general was good with a nice balcony. Comftrable bad, clean bathroom. Amazing outdoor and pool. Nice breakfast. The room was cleaned every day.
We had ants in the room and one time in the bad, for more than one day, evan after they cleaned the room. The place also function as a wedding venue and they had events two night in a row that was noisy until 11 pm. A warning / explanation / apologize for the discordant could have been nice. The staff is pretty hard to reach. The train goes right next to the place, makes some noise, though it's pretty short and every long period of time.

The hotel was lovely, stunning views, very clean, very friendly staff.
The host could not have done more for us if she tired. Met all our needs, messaged us straight away when asked a question. Would happily stay here again
