Overall this is great place and I will say why below. There are a few things people ought to be aware of as to whether this property would work for you (these would not be issues for everyone but can be deal breakers): 1. Red flags for people with mobility issues: most important is that the toilet is facing the bathtub and is very close. It is also close to the wall on the left side. I have a bad knee that doesn’t bend as far as I’d like. Luckily it is my right knee and I could stick my leg out to the side while sitting. If my left knee were the bad one I could not have used that toilet. Anyone with mobility issues will have a difficult time with that. It was very stressful to use the restroom. It is not OK to not disclose the setup of the bathroom. Dogs: it is not made clear in the VRBO website that you are sharing a yard with another house and that you are expected to keep your dog on a leash the whole time they are in the yard. That tidbit is in the info binder onsite. I didn’t read it until my stay was almost done. By then, my dog had spent lots of time in the yard by herself. If I wanted to have my dog on a leash to potty and not be able to freely run around, I would have gotten a hotel. Overall it was nicely furnished, with a pretty kitchen, comfortable bed and a nice yard. It would work well for many people, but not at all. I would recommend this place for people without dogs or any kind of back, knee or hip issues.

Great cute place. Was affordable, clean, and comfortable. Would visit again. Only down side was the early check out 10am.

We had a bit of difficulty when we arrived. The code didn't work to get into the door, and we had trouble getting in touch with Terry initially. I was extremely frustrated because it was 1:00am and it was quite dark. Thankfully, I had my flashlight. However, within about 15 minutes, Terry called me back and all was well. Breakfast nook is much smaller than I thought, but that didn't bother us. Actually, the entire house was much smaller than it seemed. No more than four people should occupy this space. There's only one very small bathroom (bathtub needs to be replaced or resurfaced) and there is not a lot of extra space in the bedrooms. Netflix is provided on the 3 TCL tvs throughout. Kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. Housekeeping did not do a great job cleaning the floors. There was debris underneath the couch, behind the bed, and on the kitchen floor. We saw quite a few ants in the living room, but once we reported it to Terry, the exterminator was there the next morning and we didn't see anymore ants. One last thing - the neighborhood seemed a bit suspect with overgrown grass and some abandoned buildings, but we had no issues. Don't be alarmed. Although the accommodations are small and average, I give this place an overall 4 stars because of the owner's responsiveness prior to and during my stay.
