This was the perfect place to get away for a long weekend. The space was cozy & clean. It was a little too cold for us to use the outdoor space, but the view of the water was lovely. Would definitely recommend!

I rented this property specifically for its outdoor features it presents which did not disappoint ❤️!!!
Coming from up north Michigan I spent every moment I could soaking up warm sun, green grass in my toes and time by the river. The lighted bonfire & small 2 person deck in the yard at night plus the dock lights, made me feel safe out at night while looking at stars.
The king size bed was incredibly comfy!!! My son and daughter-in-law said the same about their queen bed.
The linens were crisp and clean.
I will say, owning a cleaning service, the toilet, microwave, along with the grill was not at all properly cleaned, and I did have what I think was the washer drain out onto the floor. This created a water spill from behind the fridge, into the living room and a bit into the hallway. I'm sure Mike had this taken care of immediately though. He was very attentive!

Property was great. We did not get to use all the amenities, there are a lot! But great place to relax, refresh and renew. Beautiful setting great out door space. Would stay there again! May go back just to take advantage of the outdoor space.

Perfect location between airport and family. Absolutely darling accommodations with all amenities. Comfortable beds and couch. Scenery of river is amazing both morning and night. It’s like you’re miles away from the city when in reality you are only minutes away. The host was readily available for assistance. This is hands-down the best VRBO ever!!!

The garden suite is a lovely place to stay. It is clean and comfortable. The location is great being right on the river. It is very nice to be able to sit and relax while watching the river.

My family and I was really impressed with everything about this place. The suite was cute but spacious and the river view was breathtaking. I will book this place again the next time I visit Charlotte.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood at the rivers edge. Plenty of nice places to hang out on the property and see herons and egrets on the water. The host Mike was very gracious and helpful when we had a minor issue with the door code. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area; we chose it mainly because it's close to the National Whitewater Center and some family members who we were visiting. 100% would stay again.

What a great house, the pictures don't do it justice. The inside is well appointed, love how the bedrooms are separated! The property feels secluded and private but it's close to anything you want in Charlotte. The views are awesome, we appreciated the amenities! Will definitely book again!

This waterfront garden suite was very spacious, immaculately clean, well appointed, and located on a beautiful, extremely quiet piece of property. We enjoyed the sunsets from the rocking chairs on the covered patio area. The property location is perfect for dining in Belmont and visiting the Whitewater Center. Mike was immediately available and helpful with answering questions. This property is a gem.

Nice relaxing spot by the river. After a day of visiting family in the area, it was a great place to kickback and watch wildlife, geese, ducks, squirrels and a beaver. The neighborhood is quiet. When I'm in the area again, I would definitely book this spot again.

Very nice, updated basement that was plenty of room for the two of us but would do nicely for four as well. ONLY thing I'd mention is you should remember it's a basement and you do hear the upstairs occupants.

Very nice, comfortable garden suite. Accommodated myself, my husband and our 2 granddaughters very well. Beautiful scenery and wildlife to watch. Will definitely visit again.

We met family traveling through Charlotte on an overnight layover and just stayed for the weekend. Mike was extremely helpful and even answered our late night phone call to get help with finding the entry way. The pictures on this house don’t do it justice it’s decorated adorable and located on a beautiful spot on the river with a nice big area for a bonfire! We had everything we needed, comfortable beds, and even a kuerig with coffee :) it’s conveniently located between Charlotte and Belmont. Our family member forgot their phone and Mike took the time to ship it to us and we are so grateful. 10 out 10 recommend!

We are from the coast. We wanted a place that was nice and private away from the city but super close. This place was perfect. We plan on going back this spring or summer so we can actually enjoy the space. The view so great, the place was cozy yet spacious enough. We loved it!!!!

We couldn't have picked a better spot for our trip to Belmont, NC. Peaceful, clean, conveniently located, with many cozy touches that made it so easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. I'm a light sleeper, and we weren't sure if we would hear too much noise being on the lower level of the property, but we shouldn't have worried. It was very quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A great find at a fantastic price, I would definitely come back.

This property is surrounded by so much beauty. The decoration is beautiful, the beds comfortable and the thoughtfulness of the little extras to make your stay great make this place must stay option for anyone. We had ice, laundry detergent and dishwashing tablets. Every where I have rented previous never included any of these. The sheets on the bed are so soft. If you don't like the noise of people above you, definitely rent the cottage unit. You will not be disappointed. Mike is also super responsive. The permanent residents above this unit were very friendly too with many suggestions for things to do and see at a quiet pace. Check out the kayaks there for guests to enjoy. You will not have a better view than this unit though and ability to walk out your patio straight down to the water. Favorite part....souch hot water! Showering and bathing was wonderful here as well.

The garden suite was perfect for a weekend trip to the whitewater center. There were pretty good restaurants nearby as well. Very spacious suite with a beautiful view by the river.

What an amazing place to stay. The views are 5 star and the amenities were great. Close to a lot of things. The only thing that was kinda eh was the path to the door wasn't lit and the keybox is hard to open. We will book this place again

Garth Brooks Concert brought us together in Charlotte! Bridal Dress shopping completed our wonderful trip! The property was centrally located & convenient, 20 minutes to anywhere needed. The quite & relaxing property on the River was needed to recap our busy day!

Very nice property right on the river. Everything that we needed was right there. We had no issues so, no reason to call Mike. The king size bed is very comfortable. I just wish in description that it was said somewhere that it is the bottom section and that someone lives upstairs. The reason I don't do hotels is I don't like the sound of foot steps above me. All and all good vacation.

This location is beautiful and serene. My sister and I stayed for a girls trip for my birthday and we had so much fun. Within 15 mins to everything but outside of the city enough to feel separate from the hustle and bustle. 10/10 would recommend.
