Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in pretty poor condition overall, but functional. Other than the kitchen appliances and countertop there was a lot of wear and tear, lights that didn't work, bathroom fan sometimes would try to run but it wouldn't actually turn, etc.

Good sized, great location, fairly clean. Can't use the fireplaces, firepit, barbeque with out a cleaning fee and it looked like it has been used all the time and was very dirty. Could not get in the front door upon arrival and thank god there was a back door open, finally figured out that the door knob just does not work correctly. Had a leak in the plumbing so the garage was wet the whole time and we had to walk through water everytime if we went that way. Owner called and was very nice and said she won't send the contactor out till were gone to cut the concrete and fix the problem. It was leaking when we got there though and someone had just put in laundry because it was still going so they must have known about it so I'm not sure why we were not told or it was not already fixed.

Surprised at the amount of things that were damaged or broken. The house was clean but in poor condition. A/C did not work well. Blinds broken, screen door broken. Light bulbs out. It is literally being torn down in a few weeks!

We had a very enjoyable weekend despite the hot and humid weather. Very roomy house.

Overall the house was ok and adequate for the long weekend. The beach was close and the walkway was ideal for people watching. We were a bit surprised that a list of "this is what the house has" and "this is what you need to bring" was not provided (either in the contract or in a "Welcome Book" within the home). We would have been much more prepared and the need to go to the store reduced. This was not our first time renting through VRBO and found many basic/essential items were not provided. We had record heat and the provided fans did the job. But found some primary windows without screens. Opening the windows would have been a risk for our 3 yr old and we did not want bugs flying in. We took pictures upon entry so that we would not be charged for damages. We had to purchase shampoo/soaps/dish detergent/wash detergent/lightbulbs. We could not take advantage of the BBQ because it was out of propane. Were we expected to remove/fill/attach the propane tank without appropriate tools? It seemed that some items in the house were only there because the previous renters left them. We hope the next renters can use everything we had to leave behind. We understand that this is a rental, but a serious deep cleaning is needed and maintenance. We would highly recommend that a list be provided so the expectation are set. We hope future renters can benefit from this candid review and ask more questions up front.

The house fits about 8 adults comfortably, most beds are queen or full size. There are large couches that can accommodate more if needed. The general state of the house is a little worn and could use some maintenance ( clogged drains, coffee pot was broken, holes in walls), but for what we needed it for, it was great.

We had quite a few teenagers in our group and having the upstairs back portion was a great place for them to hang out - they felt like they had their own place. Master bedroom was amazing with balcony and slider doors . Kitchen was great could use a few more utensils like silverware and forks. The garage cannot fit a normal SUV vehicle so be prepared for that. Overall it was great. Used the bike rental amenities that burr white has and it was perfect and so fun. The next door neighbor was awful. Rude, complained of how many people we had even though the house sleeps 16. She called the cops when we were playing board games inside. She was less then desirable to work with and smoked a lot of weed. She used foul language and was very unfriendly. Beware of her if you rent this property. We luckily did not let her ruin our stay but it was close.

Overall a great experience to this house. It was big enough for all 16 family members. We did not make it on time to check in and they made it so easy for us to get the keys from the drop box. We would definitely stay here again next year.

Burr White is very responsive and easy to work with; simple check in. Unit has some wear and tear as mentioned but that factors into the typically affordable pricing. The location is perfect! Remember to stock up on kitchen basics if planning to cook.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of friends really enjoyed our stay. We frequent Newport and loved being able to be right on the sand/boardwalk. The location is absolutely the best! Loved that it could sleep so many comfortably but it was definately a unique set up. The beds were comfortable too. The rental definately needed some TLC that would really improve it like paint and clean couches! The banister was broken and very carelessly clamped (we had 2 people fall). The view is awesome and probably the best part of this property but when we got there the front windows both upstairs and downstairs were absolutely filthy. We had to clean them ourselves. Burr Reality was great and made check in/out so easy! We hope to rent again soon.
