Wonderful spot to stop and catch your breathe for a moment while enjoying some creature comforts. Room are fresh and super modern, filled with beautiful ocean breeze. Looks even better than the pictures!

We had a very pleasant stay at Kirinuga Boutique Retreat.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The property feels like a paradise and a perfect quiet place from which you can explore the area.
The Kirinuga team is very friendly and helpful in giving tips to explore the neighborhood. The breakfast was from a high level and very delicious.
We would love to go back in the future!

I actually don’t know where to start. We had such an amazing time at Kirinuga, from entering the gate until our departure! The breakfast was incredible, where can you actually select your breakfast? We had dinner as well, freshly prepared food really good. Great service, great location full of nicely decorated things. Our room was super quiet with a great mattress.
One negative point is: We have booked another hotel, unfortunately we needed to leave but we will be back in a few days from now :) highly recommend to stay there!
There was literally nothing to complain about! It was by far our best hotel we have visited in a very long time!

Love the place, if I ever had a house in tropics I would copy many details from this property, for ex Shala, roof area for yoga/training/meditation with sunset and you can even see the sea from there. Good variation on the fantastic breakfast. You can hear and see so many different birds on the tree tops from the shala, fantastic experience. Good sleep even with fan only.

This is the best hotel within its class in Tangalle. Period. German owned and that's why it's ideal in it's details. Great service, european and local food, but local food is adapted for foreigners. Beautiful bungalows.
If they had a pool, I would stay there for whole vacation.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy hotel. Everything is made with great attention to the details and the vibe. The place is very peaceful, the staff and host are welcoming and attentive.
The only issue is the lack of hot water. It is not a big deal for adults as the water is slightly warm, but my 4y.o. son unfortunately couldn't take a shower.

This is the best hôtel we had in our all trip in Sri Lanka!!
The owner and her family are amazing people, very helpul and friendly.
The rooms are big and confortable, beautiful and very clean. And the breakfast is really delicious.
The location is top, 5 mins walks from the nearest beach and not far from Silent beach.
Its the best time to visit sri lanka as everything works fine for the tourist .

We were welcomed so warmly! It was like a stay at a friend’s house! Really nice! Breakfasts were the best on the island.
The room was nice, but it was a little hot, as there is no air conditioner. Sometimes the neighbors in local houses started a fire so the smell was intolerable, I even had to go to talk to them.

The owners and staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The property itself was beautiful and like a page out of a storybook (lush, wild animals around, flowers blooming everywhere) truly an oasis. Breakfast each morning was really lovely and there was a Sri Lankan option on the menu which we appreciated. The location was about a 20 minute walk into town but it was quite easy and cheap to find a three wheeler (tuk tuk) so that was no problem. There were multiple cute, authentic and tasty restaurants within a 5 minute walk as well.
The threewheeler drivers consistently did not recognize the name of “Kirinuga” and seldom are able to read maps. This can make getting back a bit tricky but ultimately we figured it out each time.

fan making a lot of sound which made it impossible to sleep. also lots of dogs in the area that makes sounds during the night.

Room large, spacious and clean. A pleasant balcony with a swing and a place to relax in the evening. Very good, tasty breakfasts.
You need to walk to the nearest beach for about 10 minutes. Distance to Silent Beach is 45 minutes. Payment for the stay can only be made in cash.
