Nice calm place on the way to the mountains. Needs access by car. Breakfast possible but a bit expensive for what it was.

Superb

Super nice staff and neighbours, have a walk and talk with locals if you can! There is also plenty of (common) space to cook and eat at the place.

The very small and steep streets with scarce lighting make it a bit hard to reach with the car, and you need it if you want to do anything in the area.

It’s good value, nothing more

Location

There is no breakfast even if they specify that there is Beds aren’t comfortable The owner is annoying, he stays a lot around the guests There is parking but they promote that there isn’t We didn’t had much left soap for 2 nights stay

Very enjoyable

The rooms are lovely and it is in a great location with a good view.

There wasn’t any water in the morning when we were there. There had been a local supply problem

Great value for money in a lovely quiet location.

Lovely quiet location in the foothills of the Transfagaras Mountains. The perfect retreat from a busy city for a few days, if you are happy to bring your own food and cook for yourself.

Would have been nice to have a breakfast option.

A pause from the world

The location is great, in a small village on the Transfagarasan road, about 15 minutes from Vidraru lake, 1h driving to a lot of beautiful hikes. Plenty of good and extra cheap restaurants nearby. The pension is really comfortable, the apartment was clean, the kitchen well equipped and the veranda with the view on the mountains is just amazing.

Unfortunately the owners don't speak a word of English so it was a bit difficult to communicate, although still possible. The parking is a bit small and it's difficult to fit more than 4 cars. The dogs at night were really loud.

Very nice hotel in mountains

+ very nice owner, but he doesn't speak English + place to park your car + balcony in our room with a nice view + kitchen + breakfast with ham, cheese, eggs, coffee

- roads to go to hotel are really small - but those are mountains!
