The tsunami of emails you receive once you book a room. Relevant information is lost in the multitude of irrelevant marketing stuff.

Bed was very comfortable, luxury bathroom. I love the surroundings, a very nice path next door to go for a walk in nature. More than enough parking. Love the fact that I stayed in another building, I don't like busy/crowded places like a regular hotel.
Check-in was fairly quick, didn't get any information about breakfast or didn't get asked if I wanted to. Upon entering the room it smelled like weed, gave me an instant headache. I immediately opened a window, the smell was gone once I returned after an evening out. Toilet was very noisy (the seat, not the flush) and I could see it has come loose off the wall (very scary to sit on it). Breakfast was okay, but very pricy (17€).

The walk from the reception to the room is long as I had to walk through the parking lot to reach the building were the rooms are located

Everything was perfect! Lovely ladies on a reception, absolutely superb service! Dog friendly, room with a little terrace and acces to the grounds - perfect for travelling with a dog! Exceptionally clean.

We liked the restaurant, the bed, the bathroom.
In the bedroom there were some details that needed maintenance.
Comparing to VdValk Zwolle, the deluxe room has the same price as this one and it is bigger and better.

I had a wonderful view over the surroundings, fields and trees and a comfortable seat on the balcony for a rest during sunset.
The staff was very friendly and professional.
The Restaurant served a delicious meal on the beautifully illuminated terrace late in the evening.

location is great near Groningen center but wonderful in the country side
it was for us not clearly marked where the rooms were but that was a minor issue

Very professional staff, ready to solve any issue you may have with a smile on their face and lots of patience... (I actually had a problem with both my business and personal card being charged for the same stay - not by the hotel - followed by back and forth transfers and annoying phone calls with the bank(s) and the front desk staff gave me all their support during all this mess-up until everything was crystal clear and everyone was happy... So I could enjoy the wonderful location, the large clean room, the friendly restaurant and bar area and the great atmosphere. Nice people. Great place !
If only they had my favorite stout at the bar, it would have been true heaven ! :) But this is on me not on them :)
