the owner Maria was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was creative and healthy with lots of choice. the location is about 600m from Selva centre but almost ski in/out, with the nearest piste passing 50m from the hotel.

Our room was facing the main road, there were traffic passing by very late at night and early in the morning, didn't have good sleep. the room was rather small.

Perfect service and very nice owner who took good care of us. We needed to leave early so she made us breakfast at 06:00. We had the opportunity to dry our clothes in a warm room after walking in the rain.

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday staying at Garni Ortles! The hosts were incredibly hospitable - they served a wonderful full breakfast each morning with great coffee, and were so helpful to us getting around the area for the hikes we wanted to do. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. We loved staying here and would happily book here again if we are lucky enough.

We got excellent help with mtb and hiking trails.
The lady who runs the hotel also helped us with buses to different places. When you check in you get a free bus card, that’s a bonus though it’s perfect to take the bus to different places in the valley.

Lovely and memorable stay! Very rustic, cozy and warm environment. The host is welcoming, attentive and helpful. She provided us with valuable information about the hikes that could be taken on a rainy day. They also let us dry our shoes after the hike, to which we are forever grateful.
The breakfast was delicious! Homemade, fresh and consistent, all you need to start off your day.
As for the mountains, breathtaking!

Lovely little rustic family-run Gasthaus in beautiful Selva Val di Gardena. Maria is warm, welcoming and happy to give advice about navigating the hiking trails in the area or restaurants along with making a reservation. She puts her personal touch in the lovely breakfast she serves each morning. Beds were short but very comfortable.
We enjoyed the lovely, fresh mountain air until the chain smokers on the patio next door lit up.

It is an excellent B&B, the family is very friendly and we definitely feel at home. As a security measure due to the covid 19, the breakfast was served on a tray and not a buffet like usually is and the breakfast was fantastic! A lot of variety and every day something new, in one day we had carrots picked straight from the garden. The owner gave us all instructions and infomation about buses, trails and restaurants.
The bed was almost small for my husband, who is over six feet tall (1.86 m), that didn't bother him, but maybe for taller people it could be a problem. We had an excellent stay.

These guys were amazing, husband wife duo with little dudes running around. Great room, with the perfect breakfast and the host more than happy to answer any questions about the neighboring attractions.
Parking was a little dicy as it’s right next to the road but one can always ask for assistance.
